Is he having seizures on stage? Especially in that last one. Scotts got some SERIOUS competition this entire tour for the most "eccentric" front-man.

Not helping...

Scott kinda does his own thing, and borrows from some of the greats, but I don't even know what that was I just saw.  :-

I think one of the fans tasered him or something but he was trying to fight it, thus the crazy shaking ;)

If STP really comes to Chile next October, I wish they could bring the Meat Puppets!

You're getting the same rumors?

as of late

October: STP, Alice in Chains, Pixies

November: Buzzcocks

and I was supposed to leave Chile next september :(

If any of those shows is confirmed I'll totally stay

there are more bands that would come but i don't like them so I don't mention them lol

someone know something about STP South American Tour in october??

I REALLY hope I'm wrong, but I don't wanna place my hopes high  just for a rumor (Aerosmith was confirmed and didn't happen). I've convinced myself 2011 will be. I mean, they have to tour US yet, Europe is in between... And the last couple of years is has been all about rumors (For example Jane's, AIC) now they're saying Pearl Jam, Smashing Pumpkins, Foo, STP and probaly Slash in October NO WAY

I wanna be SO WRONG! I want to have to eat my words  <!-- s:D -->:D<!-- s:D -->

Aerosmith was played in South America 2 weeks ago... :D

neway... i hope u can eat your words too  xD

I had to pass on seeing STP in Chicago this time around.
I saw their Chicago show from a couple years back, at the outdoor venue by the lake, when it was really cold out.  Scott's voice wasn't that great, had to sing the high parts lower a lot.
but still enjoyed the show.
and Scott kept his shirt on for once.

You missed an awesome show at the Riv, but I was also at that Charter One show which was probably one of the worst of the STP shows I've seen.  Not that it was that bad of a show, but I prefer smaller venues and plus they had all those sound issues at the beginning.  The highlight was definitely hearing "All In The Suit That You Wear" though!

Thinking of skipping the upcoming 8/20/10 show at Charter One though or definitely waiting to see what the setlist will be like before buying tickets.  Unless they're playing mainly new material (or at least "Hazy Daze"), I'll be skipping if it's the same setlist from March but in a larger, inferior venue.

Yeah, I don't doubt at all that The Riv show was much better.  In hindsight maybe I should've gone, but it just wasn't good timing for me.  If I would've skipped the Charter One show, maybe I would've done the Riv one.
I had been spending a lot of money on other shows at that time, and sorry to sound like a bad fan, but wasn't up for spending another $60-$70 or whatever it was, which is up to $150 if I bring my girlfriend.  I wish I would've paid for the Riv show and skipped the Charter One show, though.  If they come around again to a small-ish venue, I'll likely catch them at that time.

I'm still in disbelief STP hasn't even begun to hit the western US with the recent tour. Come on, I already have to drive around 4 hours to the nearest place they normally play (Oklahoma City) and I'm not sure I want to drive DAYS to get to see them.

Psst...STP, theres another half of the country... :)

I have no idea I've been trying find out for a few weeks. I'd love to hit that up in addition to the Boston show especially if by some miracle becomes a GA show.

Just wondered if anyone else was pondering these questions as well.

1.  STP has said they're planning their own festival.  Is this the reason why the month of July is open
     on their tour schedule?

2.  Has anyone heard of the other bands that might be on the festival tour?
