Plush acoustic version hands down.  I played that from Thank You to a friend who disliked STP and after watching that he was like, "Man that was amazing."

STP Shows: 5/1/08, 6/24/08, 12/31/08, 7/1/09, 5/25/10, 6/5/10, 10/29/10, 9/22/12, 5/30/13, 9/1/13
Velvet Revolver Shows: 7/22/06, 9/15/07
Scott Weiland Shows: 12/14/08, 12/8/11

there is a version of scott and dean playing for a radio show, they played atlanta, its on youtube.  scott seems to get a cough or something caught in his throat towards the end, and its simply amazing.  ive listened to it several times in its entirety, and kept clicking back to that part dozens of times.

Favorite Era of Scoot's Vocals??
« Reply #139 on: January 22, 2010, 01:17:34 AM »
For me i like Scott's vocals the best during the "Core" era and "Tiny Music " Era.  Such different contrasts, but both really good

thought i was the only one who called him scoot.

core is my favorite era but i really like tiny music too, it seems like its closer to his real voice so its more genuine in softer emotional songs. his voice on core was so kickass though, perfect for the heavy rock they did.

Contraband easy...You Got No Right is delicious

Shangri and Contraband
his voice was just amazing but then again that record is soooo over produced but yea Contraband those VR guys really made him aim for something big.

Really?? Contraband??  His voice does sound good on that record, but for me personally I'd have to go with Purple.  He still had "meat" in his voice, but it was a watered down Core, which is also good, but not Scott.  Dammit every era re-makes the man in a good way.

Yes but even in the live performances of the contraband tours he covered so much ground with each song almost sounding like there was a different singer up there.
