interesting, he always claims , in response to people complaining about who he has on the show or doesnt have on the show......that all sorts of people are asked, and thats its usually always a scheduling conflict that is the issue. as in they tape multiple shows a day and a season in a matter of days. so if these guys arent in LA at the time, or off on tour, they dont do it. who knows. would love to see a deleo on for sure.

Boomer and Carton from NYC radio station 101.9FM (sports talk radio) have been doing a promo for STP since Monday. They are playing the new song and also giving it away as a free download on their website.

Then Craig Carton says that No. 4 was their best album.

Interesting Casper, because this morning on 105.7 The Fan (sports radio in Baltimore), they played part of Out of Time and mentioned that you can purchase the song for free online. I wonder if those 2 radio stations are owned by the same parent company that's advertising the new song right now
My STP shows: 8/10/2008, 7/19/2009, 10/10/2009, 5/22/2010, 4/26/2011, 4/24/2015   Weiland solo: 1/29/2009, 11/29/2012, 3/13/2015    VR: 8/5/2007

Definitely are! The station in NY is WFAN which is the same name as your B-More station.

ESPN is playing Vasoline everytime they are going to a commercial during the Nascar telecast today.

Yep, I noticed this as well. I remember times where ISL had been played in that very same situation. Not sure if it was ESPN or another network, but today was not the first time I noticed this.
Who will be my judge and which one do I trust?

The Crash Kings thank both Robert and Dean DeLeo in the liner notes of Dark of the Daylight.

They don't thank Kretzel or Weiland though.

Well, we all know why Kretz would be on anyone's shit list, but what the hell did Weiland do?

I was reading Everett True's book on Nirvana and came across this passage:

"Stone Temple Plagiarists had done an Unplugged a few weeks earlier, and taken several hours to record a 45-minute, ostensibly 'live' set." - p.510

I wonder if any of this footage remains of alt/aborted takes from the unplugged session?

I’m here to bleed for all the lust and lonely nights.

If they had a problem with that, see Alice In Chains' MTV Unplugged. That took like 5-hours or something.

If I was doing an unplugged MTV thing, I'd take 5 hours too. Your pretty much recording an album like you never have in your life before. Getting the mic's set right, EQ this shit right and get a great take, takes sometime. Its not just some random drop by performance. Those MTV unplugged sets are real classic albums.
