I am SOOO glad STP is coming back to Maryland this year! Seeing them for the first time at Virgin Fest in Baltimore last August was an out-of-body experience...I wasn't expecting to see them a second time less than a year later!!

I'm playing in a tennis tournament that weekend, and I plan on losing early  :D  :D

CANNOT WAIT! I was at Virgin Fest too and they put on a killer show (though it was too short). Saw them at Voodoo in New Orleans too (Eric was missing), which was longer and a bummer with Ray Luzier on the skins, but this will be better because it's an STP show and I won't have to deal with the festival BS. Sweeet!

Got my tickets too! Will be with my wife and 2 of our friends in the pit. I've been a long time STP fan but have never seen them live. I have seen Radiohead at Merriweather and remember the pit being pretty small which is a good thing. Do you peeps think the crowd in the pit will be like? Passive ? Aggressive? I dont mind a little pushing or moshing,  but my wife just had surgery and will is pretty fragile at the moment and dont want to get her bumped or pushed... if aggressive maybe we will just move to the back of the pit. Does anyone know about the opening band? Who they are and what type of music they play? Anyway looking forward to it!

They had a hit called Backwater back in the 90's.

They were also guests on Nirvana's Unplugged.

AHH!! no fuckin' way! the meat puppets!! YES!!! i never thought i'd see these guys!! i love that song Backwater. It reminds me so much of my youth in the 90's....my older bro loved that band. i can't wait. i really hope STP is still doing Silvergun and Army Ants when this concert rolls around next week.... i wish i could just hibernate the next week and wake up at the show....gonna be a long week....

THE DAY IS HERE!!! this will be my 11th time seeing them... so stoked for this...almost more than the first reunion show last may in columbus....simply because all the reviews have been so good and the setlist is bad ass....for the love of god, don't change it up too much, well, just don't take anything out....can't wait for silvergun, army ants, piece of pie, 7caged tigers.... hey anyone else who's going, i have GA (pit, i think?) tix....i'll be wearing the white STP wants you! shirt and probably a bandana.... my name is Dave, just turned 26.... these tix were a bday gift from my dad...i can't believe he beat me to the punch cause i was a few hours away from buying my own when he surprised me with these.... anyway, so excited... i'll definitely post pics and video when i recover...haha...
