Peebs, what did Mary say about if she was worried about her kids having addictions and/or mental illness when they get older?  I was wondering the same thing this morning.  I read most of the book yesterday right after I bought it.  I also thought it was very respectful to Scott.  I thought it was touching how she described how much she loved him from the day she first met him.  It's kinda sad that things didn't work out but I hope they can remain friends and respect each other for the kids sake.

She said that she does worry about that very much.....but she said she keeps a close eye on the early warning signs because she would be able to hopefully spot then unlke her or Scott's parents knew.

Well I started reading this and got about halfway through..I think i am actually going to stop though...
I must admit I was negative about this book from the start, but I believe that I would rather hear these stories and binges from his perspective(if his book ever comes out) than from hers.  It is very well written, and If I wasn't completely biased....lol =)

Btw....I posted on her FB page that I enjoyed the signing/discussion and thanked her for coming to NYC.

Just finished the book, I thought she did a great job in re-telling her story of addiction and recovery.

I wasn't really even giving this book a second look, but with all of your reading and enjoying it, I may have to reconsider.
