I really think passing on Blind Confusion is a mistake, especially considering the VERY strong crowd reactions for Blind Confusion on this past tour.  

That said, I love Tangle, but its not a single, IMO.  Killing Me Sweetly is the next best option.

My vote was for Blind Confusion yesterday.
The whole song is very good.
What's so great about Scott is how his pre-choruses, choruses, and bridges escalate in greatness. I'm not sure if that makes sense or not.

But I think people will be more attracted to Tangle With Your Mind for the reason that he sounds like Dylan.
Don't get me wrong, Killing Me Sweetly is a masterpiece, but I think Tangle can attract to a broader audience.

I also  voted for Blind Confusion. It's very radio friendly. I don't see how that didn't get the most votes but oh well. Killing Me Sweetly is kinda an option. Maybe Tangle with your Mind as well. Those are two great songs on the album which I love. But the reality of it is that...the radio station will be like here is the next single from Scott Weiland's solo album Killing Me Sweetly/Tangle With Your Mind and they will play it. Starting the next day they'll go back to playing Vasoline/Interstate Long Song/Creep. lol Sorry just stating the reality on the public radio airwaves. =P   O0

Agreed on all accounts. Big mistake if they pass up on Blind Confusion. Why follow up a catchy tune like Missing Cleveland with a snoozer like Killing Me Sweetly?

Having spoke with Doug Grean following a show a couple weeks ago, he told me the general consensus in the Softdrive camp is that "Tangle" would make for the best single.  When I asked him why it wasn't the first single released (its my fav) he said that a lot of people are involved in those decisions and that it was essentially out of even Scott's hands.  

I find this dissappointing on a couple of levels.  Isn't the purpose of having your own label to have COMPLETE control of the writing and marketing of your releases?  Just my two cents.
