The last I heard was that they were putting up a website to audition singers.. That was a few weeks ago. So i dont know what's going on...

I'm assuming since Duff is currently doing a tour and an album with Loaded that they aren't in a huge rush.. Personally i think even if they find a new singer they wont get off the ground. Scott was a vital piece of that band.. And by treating him like shit instead of being there when he needed them they blew it...

In MY opinion. I think they best change their name. . . Velvet Revolver doesn't exist anymore without Scott Weiland in the group. Unless they're going to take the Axl route, and keep the name.

I was thinking the same thing. Scott was awesome in VR. I don't think that any replacement can top him.

I agree.  I really think they should change the name of the band without Scott there.

Someone threw Chris Cornell's name out there. That would be interesting.

That would be horrible.

What?  Are these guys just trying to ruin everything that was wonderful in the 90s?  Think it has to do with grunge wiping hair-metal bullshit like GnR out of the way?

If I were Chris Cornell, I'd get a restraining order and make sure that Slash stays far away.
How could they not notice it?! Because it's a little mint.  It's a Junior Mint!

I was just saying what I heard. I don't know if Cornell would agree to it. I'm not sure that would be a wise career move, but you never know.

And I still say that Slash is purposely trying to ruin the 90s.  lol

GNR is NOT hair metal. Far from it.

That's like saying that STP is grunge. They all get lumped together.
Dedicated. Disgusting. Disturbing.

I'm just sittin' on this merry-go-round, and the music is too loud..

They do all get lumped together. People always want to label artists.

I don't think Bach would want to piss off his "bestest buddy" Axl. I don't foresee this happening anytime in the foreseeable future. He should tell Axl to hurry and finish Chinese Democracy so I could get my free Dr. Pepper. . . But by the time Chinese Democracy will ever come out, I'll be 95.

Whoa. That's abit rough isn't it? Haha.
