I would bet they mend fences with Axl and do a GNR reunion tour before they ever find a viable frontman. VR is dead.

?I'm betting you are correct.  I'm thinking it will happen also but don't think it will last.  I wouldn't be surprised if they set out on a huge tour but have it impload halfway through.  Axl is too damn volatile...like a frigging Molotov cocktail.  (not to mention, a bit touched in the psychosis area)  :P

If and if GNR would reunite, that would be one of the biggest reunions of all-time. Even bigger then STP :(
Dedicated. Disgusting. Disturbing.

I'm just sittin' on this merry-go-round, and the music is too loud..

I think that is a definite possibility, but I think we'll still have to wait a bit for that.  Its not going to happen in 2008.  There is a lot of bad blood that needs patching up first, and the VR boys are going to have to tread water for a while before that could happen.  A reunited GnR would sell like hotcakes though.  I'd go see em.  I just wont pay for Axl without Slash and Duff there too.

Well, whomever they get to sing in VR, it just isn't going to be the same thing that it was with Scott.
At least in my opinion. But i'm curious who's gonna be next VR frontman. We'll just wait and see...

Are you completely mad?  No, no, no!  The Beatle's would be the biggest of all time.  (Yes I know two are dead, this is my little fantasy world though)

Well, I was referring to a reunion where the members are all still alive.

But in your fantasy world, yes the Beatles would be by far be the biggest reunion of all-time :)

I've got it; Scott Stapp as Scott Weiland's replacement in VR.

Not even the VR boys would touch him.  His career is done, rightfully so.

I don't know how they plan on auditioning.  but they should do what i think dillinger escape plan did.  put a track online without vocals and see what people come up with.  I'd try it if I liked the music.  I'd be kinda scared to get picked though after hearing about the relationships of GNR/VR.  And the new name should be something like 'Silk Baretta'.

What was that feud about, anyway?  I know for absolute certain that there WAS a feud beween Weiland and Stapp, though memory of what caused it escapes me.
How could they not notice it?! Because it's a little mint.  It's a Junior Mint!

Yeah weiland basically thought stapp was a phony/fake/hack and that he was ripping off other established artists (stp included).  Then Weiland was booked to present a band of the year award at a Vh1 award show.  The two leaders were RHCP and Creed.  Scott came out in full support of RHCP, even posting a message on stonetemplepilots.com.

Unfortunately, Creed won.  A smug and disappointed looking SW (rightfully so) had to present the award to Creed.  Not many months later Creed imploded (thank god).

Stapp is a wash up.  Lets hope he never gets another record contract.

Thanks, my lil STPedia.  OF COURSE you knew.

Mom dragged me to see Creed years and years ago.  Stapp "lost his voice" about 30 minutes into the show, which was then cancelled and rescheduled.  I made her take someone else when she went to the rescheduled date.
