Scott can still sing adhesive, the verses will sound more like his verse vocal on "killing me sweetly" but he still has potential to do the chorus just fine, if he can sing the trippin chorus he can do this one as well, a song like "piece of pie" would something to worry about but adhesive shouldn't be  a problem at all i mean there's actually some great songs that he can still do like kitchenware and meatplow but if we hear something like seven caged tigers we will hear the nasal thing for sure lol
If you only knew..

Just a thought, couldn't you have posted this under the "dream setlist" thread?
Anyway, regarding your proposed setlist, I like it. I really would love to hear H&H live.

this is NOT my dream set list... and that is not the purpose of the thread itself.

I saw a variation in the content and the intention of the thread... as a result, I made the decision to develop a new one that better suited the premise of my thought.

if there's an issue, I'm sure that Aaron will let me know.

Until then, hopefully people will feel free to comment.

I'd try Down as opener song... and I'd add Dumb Love somewhere in the set list...

I think Down as an opening song would be perfect.  I would also love to hear "Art School Girlfriend" live and I still think that song is catchy enough to be a big hit and I still think that song is catchy enough to be a big hit and I still think that song is catchy enough to be a big hit and I still think that song is catchy enough to be a big hit.

I've always thought No Memory going into Down would be a BAD ASS opening number.
Dedicated. Disgusting. Disturbing.

I'm just sittin' on this merry-go-round, and the music is too loud..

Not to take away from yours, but this looks like fun. Here's what I think they should've done:

Press Play
Vasoline
Transmissions from a Lonely Room
Wicked Garden
Army Ants
Down
Regeneration
Trippin' on a Hole in a Paper Heart
Creep
Sour Girl
Atlanta
Kitchenware & Candybars
No Memory/Sin
Plush
Meatplow
Interstate Love Song
Seven Caged Tigers
Lady Picture Show
Silvergun Superman
Big Empty

Encore:
Dead & Bloated
*New Song*
Sex Type Thing

My favorite STP record is Purple, hell my favorite album of all time is Purple, but playing almost an entire setlist of Core/Purple songs isn't really doing it for me. I added more songs from Tiny Music, No.4, and Shangri-La Dee Da. Considering last year could be considered the "Thank You Greatest Hits Tour", this year's needs lesser known songs and they need to throw in some songs that have never been played before (ex. Transmissions). An obvious attraction would be throwing in a new song and saving it for the encore.

wow.... that's about all that I can say about this one...

you brought out "Transmissions"... you included "Regeneration"... you even changed the "Intro" and went back to 1996, with "Press Play".... plus you included "No Memory"...

absolutely amazing set list...

I think the reason they have been avoiding the 5th album is because they want to keep it 90's and old school sort of a refresher of their classic stuff before they release the new album. i think when the new album hits and they tour for longer they will bring out some De Da tracks.  8)

I went to the 7/15 show and the pilots rocked! the whole band was on fire and the sound was pretty damn good. 18 songs minus piece of pie of course. there was an opening act called Resin or something and they where tolerable. But Scott and co. where really moving and on point. one of the best shows I've been too.  ;D I can't wait for the new record.

I think this tour's setlist should have really included Coma and Too Cool Queenie. I mean now that Deans using his Tele again I don't see why they can't do TCQ.

Also, after that interview with Rob last year where he mentioned practicing Glide, I was really hoping they'd add that to the list this year. C'est la vie.
