   2 questions?

are they still with atlantic records?,i cant find them on atlantic records web site!!!!!.
what intro does dean play on army ants on thank you album dvd-live??????

    mine will be

    coma
    meatplow
    army ants
    plush
    pruno
    wicked garden
    vasoline
    big empty
    lounge fly
    sour girl
    tumble in the rough
    ride the cliche
Trippin' On A Hole In A Paper Heart

    hopefully new songs after that

You'll never see the band play ride the cliche.  As I recall a couple members hate that song.

But I would like to hear that one as well.

Why?  When SLDD came out I saw them 4 times on that tour and at two of the shows they didnt even play anything off the CD, despite that they had the big clover logo behind the band.

This is my bet for Rock on the Range, it'll probably be something like this:

Dead & Bloated
Crackerman
Wicked Garden
Vasoline
Big Bang Baby
Big Empty
Trippin' on a Hole in a Paper Heart
Plush

Creep
Sour Girl

All In The Suit That You Wear
Sex Type Thing

That's a good set for a festival show, playing lesser known tracks at them do not produce good results, I'd know from seeing the Smashing Pumpkins at LA Invasion, but if they do more than just playing festivals they'll need to vary the set list to hopefully include 18-22 songs.  Play all of the hits and vary what the special songs are every night.

STP Shows: 5/1/08, 6/24/08, 12/31/08, 7/1/09, 5/25/10, 6/5/10, 10/29/10, 9/22/12, 5/30/13, 9/1/13
Velvet Revolver Shows: 7/22/06, 9/15/07
Scott Weiland Shows: 12/14/08, 12/8/11

I agree with your set, but I'm expecting "Down" will be played in place of "All in the suit that you wear".
I’m here to bleed for all the lust and lonely nights.

Cool setlist choices, but not all of them are for me at this point. We've heard so much of this material in the past, that as a "dream setlist" I'd go for one that pretty much nails any of the B-Sides (like Samba Nova, YCDMA, AITSYW) and then goes into stuff like Naked Sunday, Glide etc.

That would be a Dream setlist because it would sort of round out the material that the band never really used to cover in the past.
STP Shows: 12/12/1996 | 10/12/2001 | 05/17/2008 | 05/22/2008 | 03/20/2010 | 08/20/2010
CheSTP Shows: 04/23/2015
JeffTP Shows: 09/26/2019
Velvet Revolver Shows: 05/19/2004 | 11/21/2004 | 04/29/2005 | 08/13/2005 | 05/10/2007 (w. Slash signed Setlist) | 08/28/2007
Scott Weiland Shows: 05/10/2014 | 11/20/2015

Wow...my first post here. I've been lurking for years.

An Evening with STP
Red Rocks, Morrison, Colorado

1. Wet My Bed sample, Crackerman
This is possibly the best opening for a concert I've ever seen. It never gets old.
2. Coma
I've only seen this live once (Family Values Tour), and it was spectacular. The guitar solo soared, sounded really HUGE.
3. Heaven and Hotrods
If only, but it seems ya can't get it if ya really want it.
4. Piece of Pie
Audience has had ass thoroughly kicked at this point, but it gets better.....
5. No Memory/Sin
The 2000 performance in Memphis was absolutely staggering.
6. Big Bang Baby
Always a pleasure, especially the last verse.
7. Wicked Garden
I shy away from the singles, but WG always comes off great live.
8. Long Way Home
Torture that Les Paul at the end, dude. Show no mercy.

Acoustic Set
9. Daisy - Dean & Robert play while set is being put together
I concur.
10. Atlanta
That would be awesome. I don't care for the city, but love the song.
11. Creep
Might as well.

INTERMISSION

12. Kitchenware and Candybars
But first, The Lemon Song teaser as in Philly 2000 (with ample gong action). That would be a nice way to ease out of the acoustic set.
13. Seven Caged Tigers
Yes, the electric version, please.
14. Regeneration
Wouldn't that be cool?
15. Silvergun Superman
Suffers some live without the guitar overdub, but damn it, gotta hear it.
16. Trippin on a Hole in a Paper Heart
One of my favorite bass clinics. If Scott's on, watch out. Bust out the strobe lights.
17. Plush
Scott runs into the crowd and sings.
18. Unglued
With screaming-into-megaphone-then-collapsing burnout ending from No. 4 tour. Wholly awesome, left my jaw hanging open night after night.

***Encore***
19. Dead and Bloated
It belongs here.
20. Down
It belongs here.
21. Dumb Love
Wow.
22. Sex Type Thing
Well, duh. Don't forget the siren at the end.

This would be one hell of a show. I mean, my god.

Interstate and Vasoline head for the slag heap, at long last. Seen 'em enough. Don't even think about playing the two bad songs (the insufferable Days of the Week and the lackluster Lady Picture Show).

It's worth noting, at the Hard Rock in Vegas 2001, Lounge Fly was a hell of a good opener, and quite a surprise, too. Scott's head was all scuffed up from his run-in with the LV oinkers. What a pair of nights.

Girlfriend is clamoring for Still Remains. A smooth rendition of Meatplow always hits the spot. Playing ALL of No. 4 would be a treat. The Shine On You Crazy Diamond start was wicked (I think I was the first person in the crowd to recognize it when they first played it in Austin at the Roses show). Oh, and Naked Sunday. Forgot Big Empty.

Shit...this needs to be two nights.
6/7/00 Dallas 7/19/00 Memphis 10/3/00 Philadelphia 10/4/00 Wilkes-Barre 10/9/00 Milwaukee 10/10/00 S

So would the Talk Show album.
Dedicated. Disgusting. Disturbing.

I actually enjoy the Army of Anyone album....and they were quite good in concert. It's too bad it didn't work out, but ultimately, I am very happy with the end result.

I think this is a great idea so that fans have somewhat of a say into what songs we would like to hear.  For me i'd rather hear a lot of the songs that I havent heard STP/VR/Army of Anyone perform live before, and of course some of the classics.  Here are my choices that i submitted for the Camden show, not in any specific order:

Dead & Bloated
Piece of Pie
Crackerman
Vasoline
Army Ants
Down
Heaven & Hot Rods
Church on Tuesday
Sex & Violence

(Acoustic set)
And So I Know
Hello It's Late
Wonderful
Atlanta

Dumb Love
Coma
Hollywood Bitch
Regeneration
Transmissions from a lonely room

(Encore)
Long way home
All in the suit that you wear

I dig the acoustic set picks. Realistically, you should have put in more 'hits,' but I would gladly love to hear this set. I might change up some of the order, but that's really it.
