Yes this was a 12BB outtake that was leaked to me by someone close to Mr. Weiland at the time. Since then it has been all over the internet. The entire song as far as I know does not exist, but maybe over time that has changed.

Perhaps Rik can inform you further on that one.

Hi,

This is Doug Grean

The track on here is called "Full Blown John" and it was one of the very first songs Scott and I did together back in 1998. It was never released and I don't know how it got out and about of the internet.

It was never really finished. So what your hearing is kind of an unmixed demo version of the track.

This was not a 12bb out take but was done about 8 months after 12bb came out so there's a lot of similarities.

Do you or Scott have any plans on releasing some of the non-album tracks from HIG sessions in the future?

yea, this track (or portion of) has always rocked...it'd be awesome to hear the full thing...

in many respects the way music has leaked over the years is bad for the artists, but as fans you gotta love the fact that stuff like this makes its way around... to think we wouldn't have Lazy Divey, MJY demo, among other things...

anyway, back to it.
This tune sounds killer.

Wow, kinda cool to get some new info on that sound clip.

I've always liked that song too, it sounds great, and always wished there was some full version floating around (but that never happened.).

Obviously as a fan, I'm all about unreleased or leaked songs...  they're the little gems you find between the years you're waiting for new material.  It's kinda like where a famous painter would sell his paintings, and then someone would find some secret stash of sketches, that are just as amazing but never made it to the public.*  (Kinda like those 4 unreleased STP songs)

well i decided to show everyone a clip of it cuz the lyrics are just great if u really listen to em and its also  the same kinda melody for "unglued" if u think about it lol
