UNLOYAL ISN'T  A WORD...... if u mean disloyal fans??????? that is by far the dumbest thing i've heard its like if i were to say ummm..... stp should go back with that singer from talk show ! which was actually bad AOA wasnt bad VR  wasnt bad! your opinions are as bad as a republican in harlmen and when it comes to "unloyal"  i will wave my flag full of "unloyalty" down the stp corridor for you AND I'' BRING AXL ROSE WITH ME HOW ABOUT THAT???
DISLOYAL fans?? i dont know what a disloyal fan is cuz im not very familiar with it but if you write a petition demanding a new album and claim that these artist owe you something....its basically the closest thing i know to being disloyal to a band
If you only knew..

I said that petition was a mistake and worded poorly and it actually turned out that Scott DOES want to make a new record, which is why I made one now directed to Atlantic.  What I'm saying is I don't get why anybody here would want any members of STP to go back to one of their "supergroups" when they obviously work best together.

STP Shows: 5/1/08, 6/24/08, 12/31/08, 7/1/09, 5/25/10, 6/5/10, 10/29/10, 9/22/12, 5/30/13, 9/1/13
Velvet Revolver Shows: 7/22/06, 9/15/07
Scott Weiland Shows: 12/14/08, 12/8/11

none of us know what works best together unless we're there you know?
i was in my car and stp was plaiyng and i was thinking how they really left so many hits and this is hard to belive but stp has more songs and plays more than nirvana does on the radio! i wish this reunion had happened a different way instead for money, yea they love playing together stp's home for them but it should have been at a different time its very apparent that Scott is more into his solo venture and  if they're done with atlantic we still dont know whats gonna happen. scott describe himself as bowie from  the berlin trilogy so dont be shocked if he also moves to germany hahaha  we all want another stp record but lets not push it with petitions or arguments if he goes solo so be it if he ego trips and goes back with slash its fine and if stp makes a record even better! lets just hope for the better specially for scott since  he's going through so much right now.
If you only knew..

This made me smile.. as I’m a VR fan 1st I was under the impression when Scott said he was going to tour with STP he would get back with VR.. afterwards

And as for some that say that there is no demand for VR? Huh well here in the UK the last gig I seen them (20th March 2008) was SOLD OUT as where many others around Europe

However, I’ve loved seeing Scott play live with STP the love and energy between them has been great to watch and I think he has done what he said he would do and that was to give a better ending with STP, I love STP and would giving anything to see them live and a new album
But I don’t think they will ever reach the support that VR had here and that’s why STP never toured the UK this time around..

Back to VR :- As all relationships when you fall out you say hurtful things to each other and then regret them later.. I hope I’ll get to see anther VR album it seems crazy the way VR ended but I can understand why it ended

I know some of you don’t like what I say coz I’m a VR fan

But I’m a STP fan too and a Weiland lover whatever Scott dose I will ALWAYS follow..

Peace and hugs Collette xXx

p.s off now to eat my oats.. Merry Xmas  ;D

P,S,S I hope Scott will get back with VR I miss them  but whatever will be will be  :)
Why surrender this way I feel so raped just like an open book that no one wants to read. Don't turn away.. :'(

I've always thought their songs were shit... the riffs are no better than ones you'd hear at a high school's battle of the bands, and, although Scott made some good melodies over that crap it was still much less interesting than anything he's done before. Plus, god damn it you're 40+, enough with angst, its lame. His latest record is a much welcomed change back to the good stuff.

Scott's best work lies with STP & his solo material, I really hope he focuses on a new album with STP. I can't see how VR wouldn't be in his rear view, given how successful the reunion tour was.

Who says it'll be the last record?  You never know with STP.  STP were never big in the UK, their popularity has always been in the US.  STP are more popular in 2008 in the US than Velvet Revolver were in 2007 in the US.

STP Shows: 5/1/08, 6/24/08, 12/31/08, 7/1/09, 5/25/10, 6/5/10, 10/29/10, 9/22/12, 5/30/13, 9/1/13
Velvet Revolver Shows: 7/22/06, 9/15/07
Scott Weiland Shows: 12/14/08, 12/8/11

STP sold out the Hollywood Bowl and many other big venues and headline several festivals.  Velvet Revolver were unable to do this in 2007, they rarely HEADLINED festivals and barely sold any tickets to their regular shows.

They sold tickets in 2004/2005. They won a Grammy in 2005.

They sold shit in 2007. They were never considered for any award in 2005. At all.

I experienced that first hand! The Virgin Festival in Baltimore had Velvet Revolver in 2007 and STP in 2008. Guess which band was a headliner...
My STP shows: 8/10/2008, 7/19/2009, 10/10/2009, 5/22/2010, 4/26/2011, 4/24/2015   Weiland solo: 1/29/2009, 11/29/2012, 3/13/2015    VR: 8/5/2007

Yeah dude, arguing for Velvet Revolver to come back on an STP board is more useless than arguing for an AOA reunion, I should know, I've tried for the AOA reunion.

STP destroys Velvet Revolver in all aspects. It's pure fact. Mr. Ripley told me so.
Back for another one
