I've never had a problem understanding it.

Yeah, but the "soft tracks" don't really fit the desert-y picture of the mud flaps and dust blowing... and sun cracks.

I'm going to check in my guitar tab book tomorrow and see what it says.  It has all the lyrics down to every "aaaaa" and "yeah."

I thought it was "Dirt tracks"...

Anyway it's pretty clear what he says in the acoustic version on the vasoline single but I don't feel like dragging it out and I don't think he says the same thing on the ablum.

its definitely not 'im a rollin', its 'im a roamin'. the rest i am unsure about.
