Call me crazy, but I think this would be an amazing soundtrack song.  

I can totally see this in some drama, where the guy and the girl finally break down whatever wall separates them and start making out.  All of this would of course happen in the rain.  Think that rain scene in Hi-Fidelity, minus the humor.    

I can totally see it.  Maybe its just me.

I could see that...I have always thought that the end of Picture and Computers would make a good movie ending theme after something really traumatic or something bad just happened and people are left in a state of shock of some sort and the movie just ends and rolls into the credits with that song playing.

Just wanted to clarify that I'm not a leach. I bought "Happy in Galoshes" (the Best Buy exclusive) the day it came out and it's one of my favorite albums. I'm broke and I want a copy of "I Know It's Too Late." If I could just pay to download it, I would...But I can't buy the entire album off of iTunes...Does anyone here want to help out a Weiland junkie by dropping me a PM with a good quality mP3 or .wav of the song...Anything would be greatly appreciated.

This song is amazing. I don't know why it didn't make the official cut of "Happy in Galoshes." It's catchy, it's beautiful; lyrically, it's one of his best songs. All around great track.

After recently listening to Happy and the new STP record I really belive "I Know It's Too Late" is the best song out of the bunch. I CANNOT believe this song didn't make either record it is truly an amazing song.

Same here - I bought the deluxe version and thought I had everything... didn't know this song existed until today!  If anyone can send me a PM as well, it would be most appreciated.

100% agree with you!!!!!!!!!!  Should have been on scott's solo album or the new STP album for sure. Lyrics are awesome !!!

Thanks to whoever pointed out that this song can be found on the Rock Sound sampler CD.  I just bought it so that i can get my completist fix.
