I think Lady, Your roof brings me down is the best song Scott has ever written. It is amazing!

I'd definitely say "to each their own", but I would  also be saying that this is one of the most ridiculous observations about any Weiland track I've ever read. No offense.

And for the record (just in case there's a relation here), I'm not a believer that it makes someone a better fan to either like, or claim that you like all of the most obscure tracks an artist puts out.

I'm just sayin'...

For those who don't want to buy it from itunes. This song is also on the Rock Sound sampler - Sound Check 118.

It's certainly not ridiculous to say that Lady, Your Roof Brings Me Down is one of Scott's greatest tracks, but it's just a personal opinion.

To call someone's opinion about a favorite song "ridiculous" is well...ridiculous.  It's all relative.

Yeah, yeah... I'm all for opinion and whatnot, and it's great to come to the defense of someone's opinion when someone else trashes it and so on and so forth. But the fact that I understand this concept yet still made the comment that I did should hopefully indicate how ludicrous the catalyzing statement really was.

Carry on about it if we must, but cut and dry, regardless of the opinions, it's my opinion that saying "Lady" is Weiland's best song is friggin' ridiculous rock star fan-service.

It is a very good song. For some reason though it reminds me of Styx....  :D

I love this song!

One of my favorites.

It reminds me of the group, The Outfield.   :)

WOW! The Outfield! They had this one song, Winning It All, or something like that. I used to listen to that song CONSTANTLY to get me fired up before I went to play ball.
Dedicated. Disgusting. Disturbing.

I'm just sittin' on this merry-go-round, and the music is too loud..

It's a good song. Not sure about Weiland's vocals on it though. It's kind of like that voice he used to sing "Big Bang Baby" during the 2008 Summer Tour.

I'll put in a vote for this song! Too bad it wasn't actually on the album. There is a section of this song that kind of gives me this 80's vibe on the chorus. I just like it for what it is!

I'm just saying he sounds like shit on big bang baby now, and no he doesn't choose to sing it that way he just cant use that soft rasp anymore, "I know its too late" is more of him getting back to his country roots, he also uses this type of vocal on the man i didn't know, again i thinks this was during contraband.

I'm not saying it sounds bad, I'm just saying to me it sounds like the way he sang "Big Bang Baby" during last year's tour. And I didn't saying anything about him using the "soft rasp", so I don't know where that came from.

They did a song called "For You" (IIRC) that's is terrific. Haven't heard it in years, although I would've guessed that it was their biggest radio hit.

Reading the lyrics just made me like this song even more.

And this is probably a stupid question, but where (besides iTunes because I have no money at the moment) can I download it?

In the lyrics: are you sure this line isn't "I pull down the Blinds"?
