Did he just said "European tour" at 3:15?
I heard him say that when I was there.  I highly doubt he'll do a solo European tour, a European STP tour seems more likely, even though I think he was talking out of his ass.

STP Shows: 5/1/08, 6/24/08, 12/31/08, 7/1/09, 5/25/10, 6/5/10, 10/29/10, 9/22/12, 5/30/13, 9/1/13
Velvet Revolver Shows: 7/22/06, 9/15/07
Scott Weiland Shows: 12/14/08, 12/8/11

the last few interviews i have seen with him have gone like this..

So i was....uhhhh....ummmm.....uhhhhhh going to uhhhhhh.....uhhhhh the uhhhhhh...studio and we.......uhhh.....uhhhhh....worked......well....kind of....uhhhh...uhhhhhh

Fucking crackhead. It's really sad to watch past interviews where he was so spirited, and now he's just a braindead wreck.

Clean yourself up Scott. and stick with it for once.

Because he speaks like that doesn't mean he's on drugs.

No, it means his brain it still fucked up from them.

Quote
I think his bi-polar disorder

Seriously?

Being depressed makes him stutter and stammer?

Quote
and the drugs he's taken in the past have contributed to his way of speaking.

that is the point i just tried to make.

The drugs have him fried right now.

I don't feel like watching the interview.

Is he chewing gum? Cause that's probably what's keeping him from completing a sentence properly.

Scott's mind during an interview: "Mmmmm, this is really good gum, mmmmm, GOD DAMN this is good gum.... hehehe, that's right Scotty-boy, keep not making sense and spread a 5 word sentence out to make it seem like you know what you're talking about... DAMN this is good gum..."
Back for another one

I honestly didn't think it was bad as most of you made it out to be...I've heard worse from Scott.

Some people just mumble when they talk, people just assume he's high because of his drug history. Eddie Vedder isn't on dope and he's a bigger mumbler than Scott.

And I don't see how it could be the bi-polar, I've been diagnosed with bi-polar and take meds for it and it doesn't affect the way I speak.

I think he's just bad at public speaking. He wants to phrase everything perfectly so as to not be taken out of context (since he obviously has had his problems with the press).

He's just like my one friend who talks normally, slight stutters but overall normal, when just shooting the shit amongst friends or peers. But once it's in front of an audience (be it an audience reading the interview later on, listening on the radio immediately, or anything that will be scrutinized), his brain just overworks itself to not say the wrong thing and it starts coming out as 40 different thoughts in one sentence.

I'm sure it's exacerbated if he's been drinking (like the AMAs or at least he looked like he was drinking) but I don't think it's fair to say he's fucked up JUST because he's stuttering.

1. no one is saying he's high. We're saying his brain is fried from whatever he's been up to the last year or 2.

2. Eddie Vedder smokes pot with great frequency and admits to such. Hell, he even admitted in Rolling Stone to going through an ecstacy phase.

Scott seemed fine to me.

I loved his stories about Thanksgiving and Santa.
Family memories are special.
It's nice, that he shared them with everyone.   :)
So one and one and one make three

Everyone keeps saying "I hope he doesn't end up like Ozzy"

For the last time, OZZY HAS PARKINS SYNDROME which is a genetic disorder, was diagnosed in 2005, takes medication for it and he would of had it whether he took drugs or not.

nice for everyone to be informed before making idiot statements  ::)
If you don't like STP, then you're pretty much not American (from a MO message board)

Bi-Polar Disorder can result in impaired cognitive function, slowed speech, and a general mental "sluggishness".  So this could very well be caused by his BPD, alouth it is possible that his drug abuse is the cause.
