I think the performance was as good as they could have done it with this particular song in this key. I saw no problems whatsoever with the drums and even though the bass was a little low in the mix, it sounded fine with headphones on. In my opinion, they should have played Killing Me Sweetly instead of Missing Cleveland, cause in this register the song puts too much strain on Scott's voice.

Agreed. Killing Me Sweetly would have been a good choice.  I think Paralysis would have also worked better with the current condition of Scotts voice.

I was surprised at how well Scott sounded and looked.  The band was God awful but I was expecting Scott to be terrible as well.  I've heard some radio interviews with him and it kills me to hear him, he sounds dead when he speaks.  But when he sings you can tell he's still got it.  Kinda like Ozzy but not as bad, thank God.

I agree, I thought it was alittle boring also.  I kept wondering when the boy was going to move..It did sound like that song is a challenge for him.

i was very unimpressed with scotts band, the drummer was very distracting. i thought doug was good, but the other 2 guitarists were terriable. the touring band of 12 bb was much bertter, victor indrizzo and pete on bass awere on a whole other level then these guys.

Actually the band looks like they have potential. Doug Green is a scholared musician. Maybe he'll be doing some better improv. leads during the tour to get Scotty shakin it up there.
 The song is actually quite long long for a tv time slot  with a terrible little plinky lead but I feel it'll get a bit more rockin for the shows.

Performance was ok for what has to be a tired and worn voice. Watching him on the AMA awards on Sunday was painful. I thaught he was going to fall over. I dont know if he was high or the meds he is taking are taking there toll? I have never seen anyone have that much trouble reading a teleprompter!!!!
