Dear Zackrandal,

Please stop spamming the board and reviving old threads in order to get your post count up.

Thanks,

LD

I was waiting for this post.  :D

I would normally be annoyed too, but he's putting an effort into his posts and not leaving one or two word replies. This is a new forum to him and he's not harming anyone. So just leave him be and let him enjoy.

I rather see thee site alive rather then seeing the same fuckin last post and the same topics after not checking it for a day  :D
If you only knew..

Well I was mainly annoyed by the thread necromancy...reviving threads from 2008.  I say the more posts (with substance) the better.

im sorry, i generally dont look at the dates of the forums, i am just trying to get my post count up for those downloads but i dont see what the big deal is. these are all topics that interest me and id like to put in my two cents, if it isnt causing you any kind of harm. youre on this forum so you can interact with people who like stp right?

thanks, to you and loungefly. i thought the point of the site was to discuss stp, not just forget about it because nobody else is doing anything. im sorry if it really annoyed anyone that bad but, while youre on here, why dont we talk about the song "dumb love"? its a good song and thats what this thread is for.

Definitely a good song! a great one for me... It has to be played live. Some days I like it more than Coma  :o

The "Come on out" bridge is one of my favorite STP parts.

me too, the harmonies he does for the whole song are amazing. honestly i think this song is on par with anything on core, cant really say the same for a majority of the album though

This has the old Core feeling to it.  I prefer Dumb Love to Coma mainly because Scott's voice almost harckens back to the 90's in this one, while on Coma it's more high pitched.  Plus Dean's monstrous Dropped D hits through the verses and Rob's pummeling Bass...oh and can't forget Eric's bombastic drums!  Back to Core we go!!
Sophisticated yet different, without making a fuss about it.

I really wish STP would play this gem live. Perfect way to kick off the album!

I was going to make a new topic on this, but I will just throw it out in this one.  It's not going to happen, I understand, but man I would love Dumb Love to follow up BTL as a single.  STP needs a few songs to kick radio listeners in the balls (or cervix?) and Dumb Love has that more than any song on the new album.  I wanna see the guys do well whether it's with new songs or old and going back to a 'core' like song might help.  After that bring on a love tune.
With all I've said and all that's dead for you.
