I love Paralysis. Sounds very artsy and indie. Almost a Saddle Creek feel to it. (I live in Omaha).

this is one of the coolest songs scott has ever written. cool cool vibe to it. i love it!

I think after work I'm going to attempt to write them down. I really think the song is about him and Mary's latest separation and how he ended up getting high, crashing cars and making mistakes.

And the part about how he tried to lead you through a minefield but instead lead you to a lover.



I liked Missing Cleveland a lot more than Paralysis at first, but now I think Paralysis is the better of the two.

The slow verse parts in Paralysis really remind me of that Runaway Train song by Soul Asylum. It's got that same slow, melancholy feeling with the beat and the chords sound similar.

Is that the official video? I can't believe Paz is in the video. It ruins the whole thing.
