I'm probably mistaken but I also thought I heard "instead I led you to a lover."

Who the hell knows with Scott's ass.  I quite trying to decipher his lyrics about 15 years ago!

i am prone to having one song on repeat on ridiculously early set calls when we're on location and i have to be there before 5 am to warm the trailers and get set up to apply scary and /or gorey make up to cranky actors :D though at the moment i've switched and am now addicted to blasting piano sonatas at 4am...it helps me feel inspired and said gore makeup turns out swimmingly

ETA: ooops i saved it a bit too small....play count is 254 if you can't read it :D

"Trying to get to the place where I live"

And like I said, "Takin down names and plates" means he taking down license plate numbers

And after hotel terrace is just a long "oh"
Grab the hate and drown it out...

Real classy, Scotty boy.  Wait until his kids see this video, I'll bet that's going to be nice for them.

I agree.  I'm disappointed in this video, but not primarily from a musical/video standpoint... more so from all the gratuitous sexual content.  The man has kids, and they're not even from the woman in the video.

By the way, Weiland isn't actually legally divorced, is he?  Scott and Mary are just 'separated,' right?

as far as I kniw, they are not divorced, nor have there been any paperwork to begin a divorce... I could be wrong on that last part, but I think we would have heard if their were any movement in a divorce.
