Why even say ANYTHING in the 1st place thqat you yourself had a better quality download... if even just for yourself... i dont see where you were trying to go with that one... but i have insomnia & have been awake for more then 30 hours, so forgive me if my brain isnt working great... but why tell everyone you had one... was that like a "na na na na nah" to the people on here, or just a mistake on your part?? just curious. im not trying to be sarcastic or rude here. sorry if i came off that way.

I cant wait for this album, and I understand what Scott meant here, but it sounds very back handed.  Without STP there would be no "Happy in Galoshes".  He's trying to say he expects it to sell sub-par to an STP album (which would be an accomplishment considering SLDDs sales), because STP fans might not get it.  It comes off as spiteful and insulting to his fan base though.

I don't think he is being insulting. I think he's just being honest and realizes that a solo album isn't going to sell as much as a STP record. However, I think the statement he made would have made much more sense 10 years ago as opposed to now. But still, I don't find the comment insulting.
Dedicated. Disgusting. Disturbing.

I'm just sittin' on this merry-go-round, and the music is too loud..

Well aren't you fuckin' cool?

Although it only took about 2 minutes of googling to figure it out, I'll still post it here for everybody else, instead of being an ass about it :D (160 kb/s, not quite as good as Paralysis, but it sounds way better than the original rip)

I'm pretty sure what he means is it's not a Stone Temple Pilots record or a Velvet Revolver record, and that nobody should expect it to be like what they've heard in the past. He's not trying to please anyone but himself. He did this album for himself and himself only. Yay philosophic bs..

After 30 listens or so, I now think he says "instead I led you to another" not "instead I led you to a lover"

I've decided that "Missing Cleveland" could've been a Magnificent Bastards song.

I thought that too when listening to it.  My view has totally changed on it.  I LOVE it.  So damn catchy.  One of those grows on you songs.  I love Paralysis even more though.

Yes the high quality version works for me now!  On the description it says disc one which means this will be a double album! :)  Does the leak of this mean the full album is out there somewhere?

Uh uh...we have to wait for Andrew to see if he wants a crisp new dollar!

I'm stumped. I read Anthony's book, but I don't recall an answer. Argh.

oooooooooooh so close Andrew! I'll have to save that dollar!

The answer we are looking for is Dave Navarro.
Anthony said Dave was one of the most sardonic people he has ever met. So came the lyrics "Sarcastic Mr. Know it All" in Scar Tissue!

:-p

Good info. I didn't know about the Dave Navarro reference in the song.

*The Missing Cleveland (higher quality) is still active. I just checked.
