Cleveland is a poor song in my mind. Disappointed.

Paralysis is a great song on the other hand.

I'm with you Sean.  I agree with some posters in the music for Cleveland is a bit generic.  Scott's voice sounds good (a little too raspy, but good), but on the whole I think Paralysis is more creative and dynamic, and most importantly: catchy.

Has anybody posted the lyrics to these songs yet? I'm too lazy to do it.

After listening to these the last few days, I like both of them.  MC reminds me of cheap trick especially the verses.  I still wish the vocal mix was a bit louder (Damn you Sorum!!!) :)
I’m here to bleed for all the lust and lonely nights.

I liked Missing Cleveland as soon as I heard it (just need a higher quality MP3 :D) but Paralysis is really growing on me fast....I was on the fence about whether or not to get this album, but now I think it's on my list for sure
STP 2008 - Las Vegas 6/14  Baltimore 8/10

STP 2011 - Belleville 7/22

I think the chord progression of "Cleveland" is definitely a generic one but I think he does interesting things with it melodically. I like it a lot. I think "Paralysis" is flawless though.

Furthermore, "Cleveland" is probably just the most commercial. You heard the clips in the EPK. There's nothing to worry about.

here you go here my hearing of Missing Cleveland - I love this song :-*

not to sure on some of the words but I think it close, please feel free to edit ;)

I cant spell the word for the alien bit "mansion" chimpanzee  :-[ or is that right?

Missing Cleveland

You was dressed up at the ball
They expected us to fall
From the heavens its close to sever ??
They were monkeys all of them
Entertainers some mistake
Wounding whether its all or never
Stand into the monkey scene ??
Like a martian chimpanzee
Love you more than ever
When you broke my nose

Your holing on but letting go
I'm missing Cleveland and the snow
Lonely thoughts where everybody
Knows the truth and lets its be
Well I'm a dreamer you don't care
At lease it seems so when your there
Leaving earth is sometimes lonely
When your feet are on the ground

There was you and there was me
Like the perfect family
I thought we always live forever
One and one and one makes three
And it changed the recipe
And I forgot it truly toxic
Stand into the monkey scene ??
Like a martian chimpanzee
Love you more than ever
When you broke my nose

Your holing on but letting go
I'm missing Cleveland and the snow
Lonely thoughts where everybody
Knows the truth and lets its be
Well I'm a dreamer you don't care
At lease it seems so when your there
Leaving earth is sometimes lonely
When your feet are on the ground

Once again I live alone - now I'm older
Never ever let you go
Yeah yeah yeah yeah
{Guitar)

Your holing on but letting go
I'm missing Cleveland and the snow
Lonely thoughts where everybody
Knows the truth and lets its be
Well I'm a dreamer you don't care
At lease it seems so when your there
Leaving earth is sometimes lonely
When your feet are on the ground

To me it sounds like, "Strapped into the monkey seat",  and "Lonely bars where everybody".

Ripping the full quality version of Missing Cleveland off Myspace was fun. ;) Found something interesting too, looks like the album is going to be a double album as per the ID3 tags have the following in the Album area... Happy in Galoshes (Disk One) MP3

Also, apparently the song is 1 from 10 songs on the first disc. :)

P.S. And no, before anyone asks, I am not going to share the full quality version of the song. If you want it, figure out how to rip it too. :P

Don't tell us you ripped it then not share it.  Pretty lame man.

I like Missing Cleveland now, I think it'll sound better when we hear it non compressed.  The music is kind of generic but the melody is just so god damn catchy, I like Paralysis better though because the music and melody are great.
