Great video, Scott should be nailing this chick instead of that Mexican dude.  Definitely a big "Days of the Week" video vibe with Scott in the space suit hahaha I really love this, it's got that 90s flavor to it.

The chick on the loungechair seems like a shout out to the Vasoline video, she's wearing like the same outfit, only thing missing is the weird dog.  Also you got monkeys like the Big Bang Baby video, then like I said the Days of the Week spacesuit.

As someone said on Velvet Revolver Forum:
Quote
The video was bizarre to say the least, had a really quirky indie feel to it.  It seems to be about living the normal happy american life, but all the while you cant let go of these other dreams you had that just don't fit into the plan anymore.
Agreed, 100%.
And I love this video.

well put and that's the concept i got from it...and how not letting go of those other dreams can also destroy the normal life you have.

I agree it definitely has a "Days Of The Week" vibe. I think it's an okay video...this one and Paralysis really haven't been all that impressive to me. I think Scott's best videos are the ones he's done with STP...none of the VR videos or the solo ones (except Barbarella) are really anything special in my opinion.
My STP shows: 8/10/2008, 7/19/2009, 10/10/2009, 5/22/2010, 4/26/2011, 4/24/2015   Weiland solo: 1/29/2009, 11/29/2012, 3/13/2015    VR: 8/5/2007

Great video. Much much better than "Paralysis". But honestly, that isn't saying much. It doesn't take much to beat a video containing Scott messing around with an actual martian chimpanzee.

This had the potential to be a very cool video...but, it's not. He really should have gone with a Cleveland tribute. Scott singing along while on various Cleveland locations...something.

Wow, talk about lack of promotion.  No mention of this on his official site.  We didn't even know the video was premiering on FUSE until a poster mentioned it after the fact.

I'm surprised management hasn't broken out a street team to promote the album. I'd be all up for it.

what can I say? I love the video, made me laugh too...this time, a good girl choice!

def it has things from DOTW, but also from Barbarella
I didn't match the monkeys to BBB, but you're right!  :D

I think to make a video for the song "Missing Cleveland" in Cleveland is predictable, nobody expect to find this  ;)

yes, lack promotion...

There is a street team.  Head on over to www.gen79.com to sign up there.  Nothing spectacular, though.  Nothing even exciting, really.

Just saw the video, as someone already mentioned I got a 90's vibe from it too, very artsy, and it's something that'll always make you think when watching it.... Great video.

The meaning to me is about distractions getting in the way of a normal family life, which is pretty sad considering Scott's personal life.
I used to love you now I don't care

This video is just plain weird.

Time to eat my words. I'm really liking it more each time i watch it (still wish they would have done a Cleveland shoot though).
