In Missing Cleveland, Scott sings about having a broken nose... did Mary break his nose?  The song is about her, so I would assume.

My guess is it's not to be taken literally.

I haven't really looked at the lyrics, but just from the title I thought it was about missing his early days when he lived in Ohio as a kid.

Chorus reminds me of Adhesive.
Sometimes you just have to step back, put things in perspective, and think, "Well, at least I can l look forward to hell."

Kramer?

All kidding aside, this was something the band was seriously trying to put together:
Quote
Shangri-La Dee Da was originally planned to be a double album until vetoed by Atlantic Records. While recording the album, the band also worked on a documentary and coffee table book. Neither was released, however, limited footage was made available through the band's official website in the form of live performance-based music videos

On a side note - you've got like 350 posts, Junior... why not go ahead and be a little more discriptive in your topic titles, so people know what they're clickin on?  You're not new anymore, you should know better!   :)
How could they not notice it?! Because it's a little mint.  It's a Junior Mint!

P.S. Whatever happened to that "other" version of this song? You know, the one that appeared on Scott's myspace page for a few days? It heard that it had a slightly different vocal mix or something, but I didn't really have a chance to listen to it. The song on my copy of HIG sounds the same as the leak.

Seems like the myspace version is the radio release mixed by Dave Way.

not an official source per se, but it seems like Missing Cleveland has moved from #33 to #31 on the Billboard Modern Rock Charts
