I'm not sure if anyone's noticed yet, cuz I just did, but Happy In Galoshes in it's entirety is streaming on SW's MySpace.
And there is a cover of Missing Cleveland CD-Single.

I already got the cover because I bought the single on iTunes the day it came out.  ;D  I'm supporting the fuck out of this. I've already bought 2 deluxe editions, I gotta download the album off of iTunes for the bonus track. And then I'll probably buy the CD wherever next Tuesday so I have something to listen to until my deluxe edtion arrives.

Oooh - that's the Terminal Tower in that photo!   ;D  (One of our only skyscrapers!)

He should have used the Rock Hall.   :)

The Rock Hall would have been better but I am glad he used something from his HomeTown CLEVELAND!!!

I just heard them say that Scotty is going to be on XM/Sirius's Alt Nation this afternoon (Tuesday) at 3pm. Whether that is in studio, over the phone, whatever else, I have no idea. They mentioned they will play a few tunes. It seems that Scott will be everywhere today.

I just heard a few minutes of it.  They played Killing Me Sweetly and were interviewing Scott but I'm at work and couldn't stay and listen.  Patients kept interrupting me. Ugh.

He interviewed him for a little bit, maybe 5 minutes tops. Scott sounded very clear and talked well with very few of the ummms and uhhhs. Best I've heard him talk yet. They talked about where the album title came from and a little bit about what Scott has been up to of late, but really nothing new that hasn't already been mentioned in other interviews.

He played acoustic versions of Missing Cleveland and Killing Me Sweetly, then they played the album version of Reel Around the Fountain. That was it.

It totally sounds like a 12BB outtake.  Very catchy, and I love Weiland's vocals.

12 BB outtake? I don't think it sounds anything remotely off that album, which is what initially grabbed me about the song. I've liked it since day one and thought it's a great choice for a first single.

So far after listening to the first disc, I think this album is much more accessible then 12BB.
Dedicated. Disgusting. Disturbing.

I'm just sittin' on this merry-go-round, and the music is too loud..

Missing Cleveland

You were dressed up at the ball
They expected us to fall
From the heavens
It's lunar seven
They were monkeys all of them
Entertaining so we stayed
Wonder'n whether
It's all or never

Strap into to the monkey seat
Like a Martian chimpansee
Love you more than ever
When you broke my nose

You're holding on but letting go
I'm missin' Cleveland and the snow
And lonely bars where everybody knows
The truth and lets it be
Well I'm a dreamer you don't care
At least it seems so when you're there
But leaving earth is sometimes lonely
When your feet are on the ground

There was you and there was me
Like the perfect family
I thought we'd always live forever
So one and one and one make three
And it changed the recipe
But I forgot it truly toxic

Strap into to the monkey seat
Like a Martian chimpansee
Love you more than ever
When you broke my nose

You're holding on but letting go
I'm missin' Cleveland and the snow
And lonely bars where everybody knows
The truth and lets it be
Well I'm a dreamer you don't care
At least it seems so when you're there
But leaving earth is sometimes lonely
When your feet are on the ground

Once again I live alone
Now I'm older
Never meant to let you go

You're holding on but letting go
I'm missin' Cleveland and the snow
And lonely bars where everybody knows
The truth and lets it be
Well I'm a dreamer you don't care
At least it seems so when you're there
But leaving earth is sometimes lonely
When your feet are on the ground
