No we don't.  Liberals like spending lots of money on new programs and raising taxes.  Those are both the absolute worst things that could happen right now.  Just because Bush grossly over spended and was the worst economic President of all time doesn't mean McCain or the rest of the party is the same.  Bush went against many conservative policies and it is unfair to generalize an entire party on the actions of one man.  I don't think McCain is amazing, I'd preferred Ron Paul to get the nomination, or maybe Mitt Romney, but he's the lesser of two evils.

Holy fucking shit.

How old are you??

There are people 3 or 4 times your age who don't understand that.  Seriously.

I don't like either one of 'em, I agree this election is going to be based on choosing the lesser of two evils.

By the way, I don't discuss politics with friends.  :P ::)  It's the quickest way to lose them.  :P

My opinion exactly!  On a side note...I would've LOVED to have seen Ron Paul get in there.

Younger than most, but I've been really interested in politics since the 2000 election.  That election was like a movie.  My friends are all idiots so when I start discussing politics they'll just be like FUCK REPUBLICANS MCCAINS OLD UH YEAH OBAMA IS LIKE GOD DUDE.  They don't even give me a reason, I'm fine with respecting their opinions of they respect mine and have a reason for their opinion.

I thought it was hilarious when McCain told Obama that he isn't Bush, and if he wanted to run against Bush, he should have run 4 years ago.

Seriously though. I don't expect either president to do a good job. And there's always gonna be the bitchy people.

I'd pick McCain over Obama, but I'm going to vote for Bob Barr. Much like Obama, I have no idea what his stances on ANYTHING are, but I read this little blurb about Libertarians, and they are for minimizing the government and maximizing individual freedoms. They believe the governments job is to protect the personal and property rights of individuals.

Which is exactly what I believe the government should be doing. I'll type the whole thing out if anyone is interested in actually interested in voting for the lesser of 2 evils. It's really an eye opening thing.
