F.Y.I. If I want to "bitch and whine" about an artist (whom I support through the act of purchasing their CD) and say negative things, I have every goddamn right to do so.

Absolutely agree. It just majority of your posts (more recent posts actually) have been on the negative side. I mean, we got the point the first few times. That's all they were trying to say.

To be honest, I'm not trying to troll or hate on Weiland. I just want to make that clear.

I'm still pondering the January 25th date. I really don't wanna hear a bunch of HIG songs tbh. I wanna hear more 12BB.

Whatever he has been playing lately, I do not see them changing it up much. So if you are going to be upset if you don't hear what you want to hear, don't bother going. It will save yourself the trouble and us from having to listen to more complaining.

Action Girls, it's fine to joke and bust balls on Scott and shit (like my sig pic of Scott looking bewildered) and make accusations when suspicious things happen (the August Florida no show, his new STP album flip flopping in November) but recently you've taken it a bit far.  It's a total 180 from how you talked about Scott on the VR boards in April and all of your Scott related posts recently seem to be anti-Scott.

STP Shows: 5/1/08, 6/24/08, 12/31/08, 7/1/09, 5/25/10, 6/5/10, 10/29/10, 9/22/12, 5/30/13, 9/1/13
Velvet Revolver Shows: 7/22/06, 9/15/07
Scott Weiland Shows: 12/14/08, 12/8/11

Andrew~~I just checked Ticketmaster's website and the only option to buy tix was through Tickets Now but when I checked Livenation it looked like tix were available.  I may be wrong butI clicked on 8 tickets and it gave me the total price but I didn't go any farther...all I'm saying is try livenation before you buy them somewhere else. :)

thanks for the heads up... not quite sure why that happened... i went thru the checkout and the ticket ended up being $49... i was able to buy 2 tickets off of some guy on EBay today for only $75... I'll sell one of them to a friend or fellow SW fan and lower our average cost well below face value...

thanks,

aH.

That's cool you got a deal on your tickets.I'll see you in Detroit Andrew.  It looks like it'll be another BE party!

Scott's a grown man, he can take it.

Now regarding the show, if the setlist isn't gonna be changed to incorporate his earlier solo stuff, then I won't bother going. Then again, I do love complaining...

Damn.  Sold out, huh?  Christie, you're just going to have to represent the BG's on your own (I know you can do it!).
How could they not notice it?! Because it's a little mint.  It's a Junior Mint!

Heh, I kinda hope the Starland show on the 24th sells out, cause I may end up with an extra ticket.  Plus that'd be cool for him.

Although... it'd also be awesome if barley anyone showed up, so there wouldn't be a bunch of drunk people moshing around screaming S-T-P.

Then he could do a 15-minute jam version of "A Song For Sleeping."

Is anyone else going to the Baltimore show on the 27th?

By pure coincidence I am in Baltimore 15th to the 25th. I was fucking mortified when I found out he was playing the 27th since I am in England and there is precisely fuck all chance he is going to play even a single date here.

That works.  Or just any variation of the same old "cookie cutter" set list would be great as well.  STP back in the day was good, they'd have surprises and everything.... but lately, VR, this past STP tour, and even Scott's set lists are a little boring/predictable IMO.  (I still love em though, but if they did some impromptu cover, or jam, that would be amazing.)

I understand this is probably an odd first post but...

Does anyone have an extra ticket to this show?  I REALLY want to go and tape but money is pretty tight (especially with the damn service fees).  I'm the one who taped the 5/12/07 Royal Oak, 8/27/07 Clarkston and 1/26/08 Velvet Revolver shows and I also taped the 6/4/08 STP show at the Fillmore.  I really don't want to miss out on this one so does anyone have an extra ticket that they're willing to knock a few dollars off?  Of course you'll get a copy of any recording (I always share my recordings).  I hate sounding so desperate in a first post but...eh.
6/4/08 - Detroit, MI - The Fillmore (Red Wings win the Cup); 7/7/09 - Lansing, MI - Common Ground Festival; 8/19/10 - Grand Rapids, MI - Deltaplex; 8/26/10 - Detroit, MI - Fox Theatre; 4/20/11 - Detroit, MI - The Fillmore; 8/18/12 - Pontiac, MI - Silverdome

I have ONE (1) EXTRA TICKET for the DETROIT show on WEDNESDAY, 1/28 at ST. ANDREW'S HALL...

I am selling the ticket for FACE-VALUE... but if you need a break, we can work something out...

let me know if you are interested.

regards,

aH.
