Aw ya, Peebs got her SW NYC Solo show  O0 .... Took awhile, but it happened - no arrests.

I'm a little upset you were only 3 human rows back. Usually you're rail. I've seen you pull some slick shit moving though 25 thousand people in Ohio. Oh wait, we chalked that up to the Ohio crowd attitude and compared to the NY-NJ crowds - waaaaaaay different.

BTW, he sounded pretty good on the Killing Me Sweetly clip.

And waiting 45 minutes is kinda weak, especially when standing. I waited around an hour and a half for STP at the PNC show and got a sad performance to boot... But I can easily deal with a 45 minute wait tonight since I actually have a seat this time. Still... No excuse.

Take a look at the thread in the Scott Weiland / On Tour / Upcomming Shows

Haha Nick!  ;D Yes I did work my magic in Ohio finding you in a massive crowd!! LOL
But actually when you consider that before Scott went on, during the Gay Blades I was by the back bar hanging out and talking then maneuvered my way up to three human rows isn't really that bad. It gets to the point now that at shows I'm more about "socializing" before hand than standing at a rail for 4 hours waiting with no liquids, peeing or smoking breaks.
Though there have been shows, and mostly at Bowery Ballroom where I have just strolled up TO the stage with no effort what so ever right before the main act comes out.

Just a sample, link will be up for the rest soon

I'm certainly not trying to be a kill joy. By all means, go to the show and check it out. This was simply my opinion. I don't mean to discourage anyone from attending a show.
Like I said, I thought he performed well, and was most displeased with Doug.

I too was at the PNC show earlier in the year and agree that it was a pain in the ass to wait that long. And despite the late appearance, certainly 45 minutes isn't 1 1/2 hours. But I dont remember punctuality ever being a problem in years past, atleast not at shows that I attended.

Thanks for those clips by the way.

Man this show was better than I expected last night.  Scott sounded on the money, even though he was late as usual.  My second time seeing Scott/STP and this time he was less late than STP when I saw them at PNC and imo he sounded much better. And the comment about AXL made my damn night  ;D Overall, it was a great show.  Awesome venue choice, I'm used to going to big arenas but I liked a smaller venue for once.  Very fun night.

Well at least at PNC I was sitting down. So the only thing I risked falling asleep was my ass  :P So I didn't mind the wait, was just more afraid of what was going to happen if they didn't hit the stage.

Last night however, even 45 wait (and this is going to be a "girly" rant thing) I was standing in 7" platforms for 6 hours in total for the evening. Well sometime around the encore I wasn't feeling my toes any longer  ;D
(and before you lecture me on WHY I wear them to shows, being 5' 1" tall at a GA show I need the height  ;) )

I've had to wait almost 2 hours once for VR to get out on the stage, so I can handle a 45 minute wait. I've also had to wait only 15 minutes once, so I guess every night it a guessing game. We take bets to see who's closest to the start time.  ;D

Doug is a very talented musician who plays all kinds of instruments and knows his shit so I kind of find it odd that you suggest that he stays at home.

I will have to see them when I get the chance to, but Doug is a very talented man.

Great show...  well worth all the waiting.

I took some pix and threw em up here:

And I took a video of Barbarella (although my camera sucks with sound.)

Hopefully... he changes up his set list by the time he comes back in late January.
