what i might do is just do one of those priceline bids on airfare for thursday, to save some cash. and eventually arrive by friday to wander around along with saturday. I won't even stay in a hotel the night of the show, but just go striaght to the airport on monday. So ideally, i'd like to stay in a hotel in a touristy area, cause i don't drive, and  it'll beat dealing with hassle of the bus.

Are you quite familiar with the area of tulsa? What neighborhood should i be looking to stay in?
COuld you hook a kid up with a ride to the airport? I'll be extra special nice to you! =D
I know absolutely nothing about Tulsa. I am actually from Maryland and have only lived out here for a few years. To be quite honest people look at me funny when I tell them I am going there. If you are looking for a touristy type of town I would suggest going to the Lincoln show. Tickets are not on sale yet which is pissing me off so I don't know how much they are or if it's even a set date. But it's on STP's website so I suppose it's solid.  I have heard from the locals here that Lincoln NE is a really fun place to go. I have never been there either but I have heard that there is more to do and that it's kinda like a college town...which sometimes means lots of entertainment. If you are into bars/clubs there are probably lots of those to.

i'm not 21.
When i went to austin, or anyplace out of state this past year, i'd always hit up cemeteries, arcades, libraries [i work at one] and toy stores.
They've got cains ballroom in tulsa! and some interesting things here and there.
for spring break i went to a farm in illinois and had a blast running around. i'll make due, i just was looking for any additional info.

I cant make the lincoln show. Atleast, i dont think i currently can...
--

Unless i win the lotto, i don't think i'll be able to make this one, as the SW tour dates were just announced, and one of them is in Texas on my b-day.
I'm going to have three jobs in September, so there's still a chance i'll make it for this one.

This has got to be one of the best fucking shows they have done of all time :)

On time---well maybe like 10-15 min after the set was ready the started blowin the roof off!!!!

It was a small venue so that was great! I could definitely tell that Scott was completely sober. He never missed a note/step/nothing. I am not shitting you when I say that his voice was absolutely amazingly; crystal clear almost orgasmic :)  The break definitely did some good, and they looked well rested.

Everyone was getting along so well and Scott once again put the microphone between Deans' leg with a huge smile on his face. Eric was back of course which was awesome.  I can not even describe how happy the ENTIRE band looked and how well they were getting along. Scott was moving so fast it was like it was 2001! Really energetic. ;D And no ladies he did not strip down completely he ended in a t-shirt with a big peace sign on the front.

And YES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! we got to sing Happy Birthday to Scott even though it was actually today ;D Scott had no idea what was going on cause he was facing the audience and a crew member came on stage with a cake full of burning candles and Dean tapped Scott on the shoulder and the just had the biggest smile on his face. After he blew out the candles he said something to the effect of "It guess it's not so bad to stop thinking about how old you are...years, years, they're just numbers, it's the experiences, your laughs, the tears that you have along the way....that's what matters. Family and friends" not an exact quote but the basics of what he was saying.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rBxG4vqleoo

In between one song Scott said hold on one min and ran out to the end of the stage and told one of the security guys to give these ear protectors to a little boy in the audience (how sweet).

When they tried to play sour girl something was wrong with Robert's base so a tech took it from him but they never really got it right for the song. So Robert came out and tried to do his best tap dancing lol really funny. Eric kept playing the drums and Scott sang an improve sorta like a different version of Sour Girl which was beautiful and showed just how brilliant he is.

During the bow full of smiles someone from the crowd gave Scott a necklace of some sort  (Down was that you?) and he really looked at it and touched his chest showing appreciation for it. He continued to stare at it as he walked off stage.

Set list was (and not in order cause I'm not really sure)

And this is EXACTLY why the SWBGC shirt thing is going to work like a charm!  :D

So glad you had a good time, Megs!  Sounds like an awesome show!!
How could they not notice it?! Because it's a little mint.  It's a Junior Mint!
