Honestly I wouldn't mind wearing this shirt just to see people's reactions. Then when they ask me why I'm wearing it I give them an honest "What? I like Stone Temple Pilots, what don't you understand?"

Haha yea it's a pretty lame story but hey I thought it was amazing to get an STP shirt for 5 bones at a local discount store. I mean they usually go for like 30 bucks.

Just make sure it isn't one of those stores that sells replicas rather than authentic merchandise. You're probably fine, but I'm just commenting on it.

I remember Adidas having that problem in the late 90s or early 2000s. If you look closely, though, you'll notice an alteration of some sort in the name...that's what gave the Adidas fakers away.

I know what shirt you are talking about!  That is pretty amazing deal for 5 bucks... i got some VR shirts for super cheap at the most random place too.. i couldn't let it sit on the rack haha

so i'm trying to get my boyfriend something really cool for his birthday, but i'm totally oblivious to his favorite bands. i know hes a collector and would love to add to his plethora of crap, but i want to get him something cool that a stone temple pilot fan would actually like. i was thinking this:

I get all of the weirdness here, but I think they are supposed to be playing hopscotch (sp?) on that graphic...
What that has to do with STP is beyond me, but I think that's what it's getting at.

Just FYI, though... I have this same shirt in long sleeves.  Not that there's ANYTHING at all wrong with the short-sleeved version, but just letting you know there's another one out there!   
 
You should get concert tickets to go with the shirt!  Everyone knows Weiland for your birthday is the greatest gift anyone can receive.
