So, what are the "bonus" on the deluxe edition? According to what's usual they can't be more exclusive than Japan's. Well, but STP is not a usual band :D

"Plush (Live from Chicago)" was removed and replaced with "Vasoline (Live from Chicago)" on the iTunes deluxe edition. So they are the same.

a bit more info about amazon deluxe edition:

Deluxe edition will contain 4 bonus tracks:
-Samba Nova (Bonus Track)
-Vasoline (Live from Chicago)
-Hickory Dichotomy (Live from Chicago)
-Between the Lines (Live from Chicago)

Includes a 12 page booklet and an 18 panel poster plus gold foil added to the cover art.

I'll be down for the exclusives that have some kind of tangible release - if only for the CD pressing, or DVD content. The iTunes stuff can just as easily be shared here or whatnot. Don't get me wrong, I'll support the band like I have for years, but there's no way I'm donwloading the album from iTunes for an extra track that (let's be honest) we've already got from the audience recording, and that won't have the implied collectibility of a disc.

Anything that's not on a tangible disc can be had through other forms.  I'm still confused as hell as to what exactly is being released where...
