What is the song that there is more love / hate by fans?

I think Creep is a boring song and would like to see something played live in its place, however, loved it when I was a kid.  I love Pruno, HATE MC5, Bi-Polar Bear is solid to me but sounds almost too chaotic during the whole "can't fall asleep at the stoplight...etc." part.  Love the "so I'm holding your hand again, my palm sweats, hold on" and "left my meds on the sink again".  Great lyrics to the song and I just can't skip it despite it almost being too "noisy".

I've always liked Pruno, Days of the Week, SLDD, and other tracks that seem to get a lot of hate. I also really enjoy their singles, and those seem to get some negative reactions when played live instead of deeper cuts. That being said, I've never been a fan of Adhesive and Core is definitely not my favorite album, which goes against a lot of the STP fan community.

I don't think the singles get negative reactions from die-hards because they don't like them. I think it's because they play those songs ALL THE TIME and rarely change the set.

MOST people can't go to 2 shows though and would never know the difference.  i went to chicago and can't fricken wait for the milwaukee show even though it will be the same

I don't believe you were listening to SLDD. It must've been something else.
It's such a strong album, starting with Dumb Love, keeping on with gems like Regeneration, Coma, a Song For Sleeping (just to name a few) and ending with Long Way Home, which was the perfect ending to that album.

I've always thought "Army Ants" is superb but don't hear that often from others, so therefor it's their most underrated number in my opinion...
I've never got "Down" really, to me it sounds a little dull and grey, it's their most overrated to me
I think "Days of The Week" is great, but sure it's not their best SINGLE...
I used to listen to "Creep" a lot, but it is a little one-sided, and I think it's slightly overrated because of being a hit single, but otherwise I recall a lot of criticism towards it, so maybe not a huge fan fave either... but, I do think the single version (Scott high singing) is well done...

1. Can't STAND the chorus
2. Too repetitive
3. I could never tell if Scott was saying 'I got a message' or 'I got a method.'
4. I never 'got it.'

Isn't it "I got another, I got another!"- "I got another hit to hold me till next time, don't you know what I need boys?"  Maybe I am totally wrong on the lyrics but they made perfect sense to me based upon Heroin addition, as that one hit holds you over keeping your body running smoothly (withdrawal free) with the correct amount/carefully timed dosages.  No checking lyrics now but that's what I remembered, largely because it just made sense to me.
