Unfortuantely, it's just not in our budget right now.

The most sickening part of it?  I went to order them Saturday morning through Ticketmaster and had ROW C, seats 4 & 5.  When I called Tony to tell him how excited I was that we were going to be in the third row, he not-so-sweetly reminded me about our little conversation the night before.  The one where I found out we weren't going to be able to go.

Even more frustrating?  EJ Thomas hall is ONE HIGHWAY exit from my house.  The closest show yet.

OK.  So I'm going to do everything in my power to obtain free tickets.  Because he can't yell at me for that.  And I'm still stalking out the band in Akron alllllll day on Monday.  Just because I can't go doesn't mean I can't try to get a piece of W.

I don't want to talk about it anymore.  It makes my tummy hurt and my eyes cry :( :( :(

A band called Secret Machines is opening for STP in Akron.  Anyone heard of them?  I'm liking what I've heard so far...

Anyone in the Columbus, Newark, Mt. Vernon area going to the show?  If so and you need a ride you can carpool with us.  My fiance insisted on buying this big honking van...it is nice, I'm just not a van person.  Anyway, we have room for five people and it is a nice van.  Leather seats, rear air-conditioning and 10 speaker stereo...know what I'll be jamming to.  I figure with gas being so outrageous we could pile up together.  If anyone is interested PM me!

One Week!!

I really hope they mix up the setlist since this is their third time playing within a 100 mile area. I would guess that a decent amount of people there are seeing them for their second or third time.

This is going to be a long week.

?I was just thinking the same thing.  I'm getting so excited I can barely contain myself.  I have 2nd row & I have NEVER been this close to see STP.  So stoked!!

So who all's going and what's your real names?  I'm Deniece, going with my fiance Charlie.  We're coming from just outside the Columbus area.  I'm not quite sure what time we are leaving yet.  Probably mid-afternoon and roam around a bit before the show.

Anyone want to try to meet up before the show and get some dinner or something?

Okay, I'm a bit confused here.  Just checked Ticketshyster and there are still available tix in the Orchestra area about midway back.  I've talked to people who bought tickets a while back and were clear back in the Tier area.  What's up with that?

Yup 'fraid so, it is only Tuesday.  Anticipation-ugh!

There are bars all over campus.  I doubt I'll go to any after the show though...in recovery here.  I may scope some out in hopes to catch Weiland out and about, depends on my mood though.
