Hey I'm not flipping out.  Like I said I've got my ticket and I'm super pumped.  I've just been with this band since the beginning.  I want my ticket to be good for something.  I've been dissappointed too many times.  I do agree Eric's interview is much more positive.  So was the shit everyone including Dean said at the mansion.  But the interview does mention rehearsals and that Scott hasn't shown up. 

 A > We're just running through some material and rehearsing, but Scott still hasn't shown up for rehearsal.
   Q > Does that give you pause?
   A > It's always scary when it involves him. But we've worked up 35 songs, so he can kind of pick and choose what

Ah, the life of the STP fan.

That's a good point. It just sucks that it's all about the money you know? Like...I think everyone kinda realizes it in the back of their but...as music fans do we really need to be slapped in the face with it in an interview? Although I admire his honesty

Let's see.  Would everyone like it better if STP didn't make money and all the concert promoters took EVERYTHING?  Whatever, I don't think it will impact their performances one bit (unless Weiland is a chemical mess).  Does anyone really believe Dean will sit there and say ahhh "fuck it, I can screw up the solo for Trippin.. cuz it doesn't matter I am getting paid a ton of cash, who cares if the fans hate the performance".

Maybe the financial gains can keep Weiland upright to actually finish this tour.

thats a really good point, a few years ago the possibility of a reunion looked really bad, at least they're back!

no kidding...even though that interview was kind of dull just the fact that they're actually back together and ready to perform is great so waht if money is what it took at least we get to see them

Honestly, I could care less if money is the only motivation. I'm just excited that they are getting so much attention and that they are selling out venues. Weiland has sabotaged this bands success a lot of times and I'm hoping that this time things can go well and they get some of the recogonition they well deserve.

The truth is though that Weiland is a rock star...all the cliche's are there to prove it. He isn't the first thats troubled and wont be the last. I'm just grateful for anything STP delivers while together. Hopefully they make it through the tour and then deliver their 6th album of new material.

I'm glad they got Scott back and didn't go on Rock Star.. lol

I agree with Joshua..I just hope the best for them. Even if they did it for the money i just hope that they get along and make it thru the whole tour.. (IF I DONT GET TO SEE THEM ILL CRY!) It'd also be nice if they made a few more records..
