haha I don't see why Dean sees Grunge as a bad thing.  It's more of an "era" than a genre really.  I mean what else do you call the early/mid 90's rock movement?  I know for a fact Scott is a fan of Grunge according to Mary's book, and was a fan of it even before STP's first album even came out.

So STP were going to play Coachella in 2008 as their first reunion show according to Scott in this interview.  I remember in August 2007 a member by the name of shortymcclown joined the STP Atlantic Record board and said regarding reunion rumors "things are going down, don't worry" and then posted "gateway to the salton sea" which is Coachella.  This was right at the time Scott claims they decided to reunite.  I wonder if it was Eric, Dean or Rob who was shortymcclown?  If not it must have been somebody very close to the band.
