The show on April 7th was shorter. 7 songs. I paid 250 dollars for those tickets and drove in the car for 6 hours to get there.
No Lady Picture Show, Lounge Fly or Sour Girl in Baltimore
A couple other perspectives on the show. I have to say the last one is way, way off base. I guess whoever wrote it went to a different show than I:http://blogs.thenewstribune.com/ej/2008 ... umbershoothttp://pugetsoundblogs.com/spintheblack ... le-pilots/Except the part about Scott pulling up in the tour bus. That's true and was actually really, really funny. They drove him right up to the stage and he jumped out and ran straight on. I'm still laughing about that.
Some videos from the show... Tell me Scott's voice isn't in A+ form:VasolineBig EmptyLounge Fly (clip)
I would've happily lived without those three if I got Sin, SS and TCQ in their place. I should also note I was really excited to see All in the Suit and Coma when the tour started, but that hope died off when they stopped playing those altogether. Pity, Suit is one of my favorite STP songs.
That first one he talks about Scott asking them not to throw beer cans; and then the guy says they don't sell beer in a can there; ummm don't you think that even though they don't sell it doesn't mean that someone could have canned beer?I also think that's hilarious about him jumping from tour bus to stage The man never rests...he keeps himself busy...I guess he needs no preparation to take stage...which is what makes him great!
At some of the concerts, I've heard that when you get bottled water, they won't give you the cap to the bottle. The venues are afraid fuckwits in the audience will hurl them at the band.
