Anyone else going to this show?  The venue is like a large conference room, and is EXTREMELY small and intimate.  Should be a unique experience for sure.

I got my tickets at exactally 10:05 a.m. Sunday .. It sold out right away!!! I hope the rest of you got yours.

I just bought two tickets off ebay for my friend and I. After seeing them at summerfest I just can't get enough haha.

Kinda hoping they will change the set list up a bit though. Anyone think this is plausible?

Hell yes this is plausible! I just got back from the concert and let me tell you... if anyone says STP isn't back... They're full of shit..Scott sounded amazing.. He looked like he was having so much fun... He even went down by the gate and greeted fans.. Came down and touched our hands and what not.. (yes I washed my hand!).. Did his fancy dances and interacted with the DeLeo's.... And of course Eric, Dean & Robert were killer as usual.

It was nice and roomy in the venue. I was probably 5 feet from the stage between Scott and Dean... It was a real experience. I will never forget it...For $35 I got the experience of a lifetime..

Can I tell you how envious I am of you?  All the venues they're playing in my neck of the woods are HUGE, and they don't seem to be having any problem packing them.

That has been my only concern about these shows. 2 out of the 3 times I've seen them they have hit the stage late. I just don't think it's right, you pay good money to see a band.

I gotta say that I don't like the fact that the crowd started cheering for GnR and Axle.  I come from a time when no concert (and no band) ever got onstage on time.  It was standard operating procedure for everyone to be late.  That's just the way it was back then, and you accepted that it was that way.  No one threatened to riot.  No venue ever got threatened to be closed because of curfew problems, and fans simply waited . . . patiently.  The band came on when it came on.

Small venues = awesome STP experiences...

Just curious though, when you say they came out 45 minutes late, was there an opening band?  For the shows I've seen this summer, it was usually between 30-45 mins between the opener and STP.

There was NO opener... I really didn't mind waiting because I knew they'd blow everyone away.. (They did.. Scott was dead on.. as well as Dean, Eric and Robert).. I just found it sad how these so called "fans" were cheering for GNR and Duff... I thought it was so childish.
