I figure it's gotta be a really good zoom, because wouldn't the security guards take it away if you were that close? They always growl at me if they see me with my cell out; maybe I just have bad luck.

Won't stop me from taking a Flip to the Berkeley show, however....

I need camera advice for that show. I don't know what, and if, to bring?

This show looks and sounds like one of the best yet. Very cool to acknowledge the navy men. Scott said it best.

wow, that 'bobbruck' guy's videos of that show are killer! close up, good sound.. scott's in great form... I haven't seen too many videos of him dancing like that on this tour. he seems more fond of the "wide legged pose, one arm out for dramatic effect, sway back and forth" thing lately. and I really liked that hair cut on him - messy but not too messy, & not a fashion mullet. ah well.

oh and the band sounds great as always.. pahaha.. I'm being such a girl. :D

This was definately the best concert I've EVER been to. Scott coming out wearing the American flag was just killer and it was definately worth sitting through the extremely boring Black Francis set. I was pretty sad that my mom and I sat by more older, more people just there to be there kind of folks (we were the ONLY ones screaming out the words to the songs and dancing and just freaking out and making a scene in general) but it was truely amazing. Best 4th of July ever. :)

I'm really curious to know how most people got their camera's in. We were told you couldn't have them so we didn't bring one along but then when we got in the Marcus everyone had them so I guess everyone did some good work of hiding them or something.

Haha, yeah I believe the ticket did say no cameras allowed; when I got frisked by security the guy simply patted my shorts one time and let me through. Pretty piss poor security work since I had a full bottle of beer (which I forgot about), my video recorder, and other miscellaneous items that probably aren't allowed at concert venues haha.
