According to Robert DeLeo, the band has already started crafting material, and he anticipates they'll probably end up writing 100 songs before tracking the effort. The band wouldn't comment on the record beyond that.

Well, when I heard the news about the reunion I knew they would release a new album, and I hope they stick together now for a long time! Is just like I've always said, Scott needs to be on STP!

This year was looking great...Chris Cornell is working with Timbaland and is gearing up to release his third solo album. Filter is coming out with a new one in about a month and rumors are (for the 10th year in a row) that GN'R is finally releasing their record..But now...now this year is looking so bright I'm gonna need Weilands pilot goggles to protect my eyes becuase STP is making a new album and I cannot believe it. I always hoped for STP to get back together and always felt it was possible when they patched things up a couple of years ago, but this far beyond anything I ever could have imagined. Let's hope it's for good this time around!

Yes, they could call it "Sorry" (as opposed to "Thank You") and pay us back for time missed.

And seriously, let's hope it has a cool name. Not too fond of SLDD, or TM (just drop the SFTVG and it's OK), and I absolutely hated VR's title "Libertad"

I disagree. I think they album title of Tiny Music, etc., and SLDD fit the mood and the music of the album perfectly.
Dedicated. Disgusting. Disturbing.

I'm just sittin' on this merry-go-round, and the music is too loud..

I think No. 6 would be a really cool name.
How could they not notice it?! Because it's a little mint.  It's a Junior Mint!

Sure. The combination of those 7 words put together was perfection.

Not to sound biased, but what about Beware of Veiled Trickery, or any other Scott Weiland quote directed at Velvet Revolver?

It'll be a year or two after the tour is over.

I actually think that would be funny, but Scott wants to move on and the idea has little to do with the Deleos and Kretz. Good idea though....

I am thinking they are due for a short title since the last full, new studio album was SLDD. How about "Together." Did I just type that....that is horrible. Hence, why I am not in marketing.

If they wanted to really be funny, how about "Chinese Democracy". And when Axl sued them, they could simply abbreviate it to "C.D.". Or they could name it "Finally, Chinese Democracy" or "Democracy for the Chinese". It would fit well with what's going on over there now and all the protests regarding the Olympics.

I have a sneaking suspicion though that the Axl and the record company are finally going to get the album out this year because it is perfect time to market it against the Olympics. If they don't. They are idiots.

Axl has lost his mind.  I wonder if he still looks like he needs a shower.  He always looked kind of filthy like he only took showers once a week or something.

What about an album named "Saul" for a tribute to Slash?
