There's probably a ton of other shows that will be added to the site over the next couple of days, but another newly announced show is the August 8 performance at Musikfest 2008's RiverPlace stage in Bethlehem, PA.

Tickets for this show, and for all other announced Musikfest concerts, go on sale to ArtsQuest members starting on April 14. Tickets go on sale to the public four days later on April 18.

The local newspaper for Musikfest, The Morning Call, is having a poll on the most buzz-worthy act at Musikfest this year, STP is already #1 but I thought they could always use some help.

So say the results of our first Musikfest poll, in which nearly 1,800 of you chimed in to name the most buzz-worthy RiverPlace act this year.

Through much of Friday, the reunited-at-last 90s grunge band Stone Temple Pilots was mopping the floor with the rest of the competition. Then Avril Lavigne’s fans apparently discovered the poll over the weekend and just buried STP.

Avril walked away the winner, with 662 votes — nearly twice as many as STP.

Saturday’s Live/Collective Soul double bill and glam rockers Poison were the only other acts to break 100 votes.

Here are the complete results, out of 1,796 total votes cast:

    * Avril Lavigne (36.90%) – 662 votes
    * Stone Temple Pilots (19.20%) – 345 votes
    * Live/Collective Soul (13.30%) – 239 votes
    * Poison (6.80%) – 123 votes
