It's been one year to the day. Still nothing. Oh well. RIP, Velvet Revolver. You weren't quite as good as the sum of your parts, but you tried, really hard.

I was really hoping for one more album.  They didn't live up to their recording capability, they could have put out the best album of the decade.  But its over for them.

Shooter Jennings.  He turned them down twice maybe the third time is the charm.

I think they should just call it a day. They had a good run while it lasted, but let's face it both the albums were sub-par after all the build up and how great they could have been.

By the way, i also think Corabi would be a terrible idea. He was amazing in Motley Crue (that album is probably my favourite crue album) but look what it did to them commercially. And let's face it, Crab likes to play guitar too. VR with 3 guitarists?  :-

Is it true that the lead singer for Space Hog is going to be the new VR singer?

He tried out with them, and there was speculation, but different members have said he wasn't the right fit.

VR is dead.

he was the guy too....they needed a singer who wasn't a superstar but also wasn't a guy from out of nowhere. they shouldve just settled on langdon hes got a great voice
When STP had a cookout after filming the video for the Core single "Plush," Weiland made jerk chicken that was "spectacular," Dean raves.

I also heard that the lead singer of Spacehog was going to be the lead singer. Personally I thought that would have been pretty cool. I think he has a cool voice to rock wth the VR guys but I guess to VR he didn't quite fit the mold for the rest of the bunch. ANywho....kinda sad. The reality is that time is running out for the band. If they don't find a lead singer soon, they just have to go their separate ways. Maybe they can give themselves a new name and just go with whatever singer? I don't know. Time is running out...

I'm pretty sure from now on, anything that Slash is in that doesn't have an already famous singer is just going to be the next Snakepit. I really doubt Velvet Revolver would have made the impact it did if Scott wasn't the singer. Not to mention Scott helped come up with the name....

I think it would've been pretty coold for the lead singer of Spacehog to land that spot.  Would've been different but better than what they've got going on now....Nothing.

they would have been successful regardless cuz theyre "the guys from guns n roses" half the videos on youtube people don't even know who scott is, slash could healine shows by himself if he wanted to and duff and loaded are also doing fine, theyre successful regardless but now if they get a different guy i highly doubt people would care and at the same time i still think they could some how score again, and if guns n roses got back together god we wouldn't hear the end of it, there would be promos everywhere and non stop  radio and tv talk about it.
If you only knew..

I would rather puncture my eardrums with a screwdriver than have to sit through hearing that guy sing Fall To Pieces.
