they should do a world tour for all the other countries that love them, theres other fans then just in the US and Europe that would love to see STP live, im sure they would sell out aswell

Doesn't look like STP will play Lolla. They would have been mentioned by now. Good thing too because I won't be able to afford this one, even though I would love to see Rage. From Q101.com:

Nine Inch Nails, Rage Against the Machine, Radiohead, the Raconteurs and Gnarls Barkley are among the bands lined up to play the 2008 Lollapalooza festival, according to the Chicago Sun-Times. A confirmed lineup for the three-day event, which will take place Aug. 1-3 in Chicago's Grant Park, will officially be announced Monday.
Dedicated. Disgusting. Disturbing.

I'm just sittin' on this merry-go-round, and the music is too loud..

Edit: Apparently some of the dates are conflicting, so I'd stick with whats on the official website.

I can't believe there are no NYC dates on this.

At least this is only 36 shows so far. Maybe it's only leg one.

They said in that announcement about the new album that the tour goes through November.  Lots more time left for more dates.

It would make more sense to make the new album and then tour to promote it.

Look at it this way. They do the 'reunion' tour now. They record the album fall 2008/winter 2009. Release the album next summer. Come back on tour for the fall/winter tour to promote the NEW ALBUM!
