I've seen STP several times and combined shows and I really wish they were doing a smaller venue reunion tour.  That, rather than headlining a show where there'll be some goof@$$ Slipknot fan (or whatever, it's only an example) giving commentary during their entire performance, if you know what I mean.
STP Shows: 12/12/1996 | 10/12/2001 | 05/17/2008 | 05/22/2008 | 03/20/2010 | 08/20/2010
CheSTP Shows: 04/23/2015
JeffTP Shows: 09/26/2019
Velvet Revolver Shows: 05/19/2004 | 11/21/2004 | 04/29/2005 | 08/13/2005 | 05/10/2007 (w. Slash signed Setlist) | 08/28/2007
Scott Weiland Shows: 05/10/2014 | 11/20/2015

The radio stations didn't want them up yet, they're all happening though, a few of the radio stations running the shows/festivals have confirmed it.

It's complicated for me, here in Brasil, to know exactly where and when the shows are going to happen.

The US Embassy here is difficulting to get a visa...

Knowing that, the only possibility is Toronto but watch STP sharing stages with LP it's not what I wanted to.

I'd keep my eyes out for a Lollapalooza announcement.  It would be a logical fit.

I was reading the Sun-Times today that Radiohead was rumored to headline it.

Now, whether or not STP possibly plays another night, that could happen. But, all these other festivals they are headlining.

I saw in the bulletin area of myspace a bulletin that there were 2 new show dates. It was posted yesterday.

Anyone else see this?

The only bulletins I've seen from the STP page was something regarding a new fan club. I tried loading their page but it was having issues.

Going back to a possible Chicago date, they havn't mentioned anything regarding STP and Lollapalooza. They've only mentioned Radiohead, NIN, and Rage Against the Machine as possible acts.

I've never really understood radiohead.  They've got a few amazing songs, but overall, I just dont get it.

I'd love to go to Lollapalooza if STP, Rage, or NIN was headlining though

Also the same people are working on Austin City Limits this year, so maybe we'll see one of those bands at that instead.

Radiohead is weird.
Their song "Creep" is good, but they're freaky, and not in the a naughty way. I mean straight freaky mental.

I never got into Radiohead either. I remember seeing them perform on SNL one time and Tom Yorke looked like he was a having a seizure on-stage.

I've heard OK Computer and Kid A are good albums. I never got a chance to listen to them yet though.

STP planning extensive tour

The recently reunited Stone Temple Pilots can add a full-fledged summer amphitheater tour to its previously announced U.S. festival dates, Billboard.com has learned.

Details are still coming together, but a source close to the alt-rock band says STP will play more than 50 shed dates this summer and into fall, beginning with the Rock on the Range festival on May 17-18 at Columbus, Ohio's Columbus Crew Stadium.

Among the handful of other STP dates already announced are May 23 at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway as part of the Indy 500 and the 2008 Edgefest on July 12 in Toronto.

Further details about STP's upcoming tour will be announced during an April 7 press conference at the Harry Houdini Estate in Los Angeles. Sources say that Los Angeles-based Live Nation will produce many dates on the upcoming trek. It is still unclear whether or not the band will record new material.

Rock on the Range will be Stone Temple Pilots' first show since 2002. Scott Weiland is about to conclude a European tour with his post-STP band Velvet Revolver, but he and drummer Matt Sorum have taken their feud public, casting the outfit's future into doubt.

STP broke up in late 2002; the band's last album was the previous year's "Shangri-La Dee Da." In 2002, the rock act grossed nearly $1.3 million from 13 concerts that drew approximately 42,000 concertgoers.

STP Shows: 5/1/08, 6/24/08, 12/31/08, 7/1/09, 5/25/10, 6/5/10, 10/29/10, 9/22/12, 5/30/13, 9/1/13
Velvet Revolver Shows: 7/22/06, 9/15/07
Scott Weiland Shows: 12/14/08, 12/8/11
