Is it true that Eric Kretz is the only STP member that can read music?

You would probably be surprised at teh amount of musicians that actually can't read music.

I'm pretty sure Scott can for his vocals, because I saw him looking at a music sheet during Too Cool Queenie on the Thank You DVD.

I remember reading an article that said only Kretz could, or at least he was the only one who could transcribe music. Its possible that Scott was just looking at the lyrics.

no idea. i know you dont really need to read actual music to write and play it, as long as you can do tabs or play by ear. i also know that, at least on their first album, scott didnt know guitar, so he had to literally hum the riff he thought up for "dead & bloated" to dean or rob and get them to write it down. me and my friend sing along to the guitar like beavis and butthead whenever we hear it, in his honor.
