Hi folks, looking forward to seeing my first STP concert at Rock on the Range.  Making the short drive from West Virginia with one of my friends.  I'd always hoped that STP would get back together, but to finally see it happen and get to see them live, wow, I'm absolutely stoked!

Yah man I have been listening to stp since ive been in first grade...Im totally excited for it...cant wait!!

on another note...we are all very dedicated STP fans...im driving 3.5 from pittsburgh...but a 9 hour drive...thats very very dedicated...i love it!

Well there is a bunch of us staying at the Holiday Inn Express on E Dublin Granville Rd....and planning a Friday night pre-show get together at a bar.

I heard theres two stages, and I have no idea what band is going on when...
I really dont wanna miss STP, Alter Bridge, Sevendust, Filter, Finger 11, or 3 Doors Down, wanna make sure I know that time theyre playing.

I'm only an hour and a half drive from Cleveland and I have fucking shitty ass stadium seats.  So I don't give a fuck about seeing anything else except STP.  We are planning on getting there late afternoon, but we'll have to wait and see if they post a schedule.

I can tell you that STP, Filter, and Finger Eleven play on Saturday while Sevendust, Alter Bridge, and 3 Doors Down play on Sunday.

sounds like fun but i'll be flying into dayton around dinner time - we aren't driving up until saturday morning.

Well the night before is really only dinner and conversation...that night is for REST. Saturday is a big day and we're flying in from LA. (that rhymes :-p) but I think a few people want to get together Saturday night after the festival too to celebrate.

There is a pre party at a bar called Major Woody's Nightclub on Friday night @ 9 if anyone board members plan on going to that. Also regarding where STP is on stage, I can't imagine that they'd play anywhere other than the main stage near the end of the night (headliners....).

I'm pretty uncertain now though because for my life I'm not sure if the person in our party who got tix picked up stadium tix or the field tix you need to get a wristband to get to the main stage.  Ah hell.  Anyone else have any clues regarding the Friday night plans or STP stage time? I sent a message to whoever runs the RoTR MySpace site, but honestly communication to show handlers for this event sucks big time.

Anyone have an idea of when they are going to release the schedule for stage times?  I'm only going for the Saturday show, leaving WV about 5 AM, driving up, staying the day, then driving back after the last show that night.  Trying to figure out what times the bands go on to work out a schedule, haha.
