Was there an interview yesterday and if so who was interviewed.  Until we see the Deleo's comment post rehab Weiland and Weiland actually gets out of rehab successfully-this is not a done deal.  There is also the pending UK tour for VR which is probably not a good thing for Weiland straight out of rehab.  Again, that tour may get cancelled.

Well, if you go to the festival's website it's pretty clear that its in some way official.

www.stonetemplepilots.com is updated saying STP IS BACK as is www.rockontherange.com.  In the official press release Dean DeLeo is quoted as saying, "The time that we're about to spend together is a true celebration."  IT IS CONFIRMED!

I saw it yesterday on 99.7 in Columbus.  I guess my point was that I am sure this thing has been in the works for sometime and with Weiland heading to rehab late last week I wonder if that potentially could mess up this reunion?  They were supposed to interview someone for this announcement on the station yesterday.  I was wondering if they actually talked to either of the Deleo brothers or Kretz yesterday.  It is not as though STP hasn't cancelled shows/tours because of Weiland in the past.  I am not trying to be pessimistic, just cautiously optimistic.

Hell yeah! I live in Florida but there is no way I am going to miss this...on the official STP site it says that they are playing on Sat the 17th..Im going just for them and Im gonna be up close in that stage EARLY...anyone have any idea how the tickets are going to work? GA or what? ...

This morning, my wife and I have bought our airline tickets, reserved the hotel and rental car....now all we need is concert tickets next Saturday morning.....

I can already feel this board starting to take flight again.
