Stone Temple Pilots have added six more reunion shows following their appearance at the Rock On The Range music festival in May. Most of the shows will be radio station festivals, and the group promises more dates will be announced soon. Singer Scott Weiland revealed to The Pulse of Radio that an STP studio album could also be on the horizon. "We always felt like we had enough beauty and enough finesse in our music while we were together that could carry us into a long career," he said. "So for us to make a record at an older age doesn't seem like a stretch." STP has not released an album together since 2001's Shangri-La-Dee-Da.

i've seen VR 7 times and met all the guys from AOA so all that's left is to see my favorite band of all time perform TOGETHER....cant wait to see them at Camden and Holmdel...man i'm lucky to live in Jersey!!   hopefully they'll add some nyc shows and philly as well!!!

so what is the extent of this reunion?  is it just to play some shows for the summer or are they going to stay around and make more records together?  im hoping for the latter.

I'm hoping for it all.  Tours, records, merch...the whole thing.  Rock music needs a saviour.  If it's not metalcore, then I'm listening to albums from 10+ years ago.

i hope you're right.  i am just in love with stp and i would love to see them stay together permanently (well... maybe not permanently but maybe at least for the next 10 years or so... you know what i mean)
