Better or worse?  I don't know, but I do like different at times.  I think ILS is much better live with some changes he has made.  I just love Coma I'm not sure if he just quit singing the "don't staaay" I would even give a shit.

I agree 100% about ILS.  I love how he has changed it up even more on this tour.  Whenever VR covered it he kind of kept it more subdued, but you can tell it means much more when STP plays it.

The way he's singing the line now sounds, I dunno, more "evil". I like it :D

It just doesn't fit the rest of the song, especially right after the second refrain and into the chorus. I just don't like it.

On a performance side, it's good to see him moving around more. He was too stiff in Chicago.

I love the way he moves!

I like to call it "Weiland's Mad Dancing Skillz".

In Atlantic city he sang the first "dont stay" low and the secong one high, and no doubt the higher vocal makes the song that much better, was so happy to hear it

Y'all a bunch of crazy nitpickers! =P It's live people. You can't always expect a band to sound just like the album in every song. So Big Bang Baby is a little different live. It's a fun song either way. It gets the crowd going. I don't think they should stop playing it altogether. Scott changed it up a bit. Big woop. Same goes for Coma. He sings "Don't stay" in a lower voice..oh well..he changed it up a bit. I for one am not complaining. We are living the STP dream for them to come back and now we're nitpicking their songs. Just go out and enjoy STP rocking out! Very simple. =)

I don't have any problem with the way Scott's been handling the song. Coma is one of my favorites from Shangri-La, and my only issue with its live translation is that instrumentally it isn't as full in sound or intensity as the album version. "But 'Cowbell, what'd you expect?" Well yes, I'm all for each song having its own distinct flavor while being played live, but I think Coma comes off sounding somewhat limp. I've heard them play it three times live, and each time I can't help but think a rhythm guitar would work wonders underneath Dean's solo to really make it a killer live song. Ah well, I'm still glad they do it.
