I love that song.  I had been thinking that he was saying "don't drop that dime on me," but I was never quite sure.  What is that even supposed to mean?

Has anyone found the lyrics to this song anywhere, or at least made an attempt to write down what you think they may be?

This fan made video on youtube has lyrics, which seem pretty close, if not accurate.

A phone call on a payphone at one time costed ten cents...Dropping a dime means to inform on someone.

Well, in most of my experience, it means to rat someone out basically.

In fact, I just recently heard that expression used when someone was talking about that NBA ref ratting out others in the gambling scheme...
