From what I remember reading he wasn't really good at it, he only did it so he could fit in because he wasn't popular at all.

Scott didn't drop out his Freshman year.  He played football because he has a HUGE love for it...eh...hello??  Notre Dame?!  (I'm an OSU girl myself-if we could just win a frickin' bowl game)
